Parafin heater is not appropriate without adequate ventilation and made us both feel unwell. Place has lots of potential but overall feels Grimey especially kitchen . Kettle also smelt of burning plastic upon boiling so needs replacing.

Cosy with beautiful views and nice hosts.

Nice location overlooking the sea. Great views from the house towards the Dingle peninsula. Ideal spot for a short stay of 1-2nights.

The property was comfortable and well located, with a warm and welcoming feel overall. One drawback was the lack of central heating. The space relied on a paraffin heater, which can produce a noticeable smell. Central heating throughout the house, upstairs and downstairs, would greatly improve comfort during colder winter nights. On a positive note, the washing machine was a great convenience, especially after long days spent hiking and walking outdoors. Overall, a cosy stay with beautiful views and a pleasant atmosphere.

Not the place for a good nights sleep sadly

Location and views were spectacular. It was great to have a kitchen and washing machine. Nicely decorated. There was an outdoor clothes line or indoor clothes horse.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable with a cheap , hard and ‘springy’ mattress. I actually slept on the lounge instead. The ladder to the loft where the bed is would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues or plus size. There was an overpowering musty smell from the cupboards. The kitchen was not adequately stocked - eg no potato peeler , masher, roasting dish, could have more utensils

Great view! Would be great if/ when renovations are conplete

Even though I knew that the bed was in the loft, I felt unsafe using it. Felt very claustrophobic up there, however was able to sleep on the couches provided. Having said that, the couches really need a good clean or replaced. I would get rid of the couches and put the bed downstairs. The loft would be an added extra.

Lovely view but disappointing accommodation

Beautiful view. Cooking facilities available.

Very small to the point of being cramped when using the sofa bed (additional 25 euro charged). Only bedroom is up a pull down ladder in an attic space. You can’t stand, only hunch or crawl. Only toilet is downstairs. We were disappointed to find old and dirty teabags in a container and rusted cookware due to an under-sink leak. Maureen was pleasant and helpful.

Stunning location in Kerry's dark sky reserve

Absolutely breathtaking views from this place. Located in the dark sky reserve in Kerry and the stars were stunning at night! Lovely host, gave great recommendations on request.

Although I loved this location and would 100% stay again, the bedroom is somewhat uncomfortable as you can't stand up straight due to the sloping roof.

Prachtig uitzicht. Nieuw fornuis met dubbele oven.

In het huisje ontbraken een aantal basis keukenbenodigdheden, zoals een goed mes, een snijplank en een paar fatsoenlijke wijnglazen. De badkamer was wel heel erg klein en na het douchen is het dan een behoorlijk natte bedoeling. Verder haperde WiFi regelmatig en soms ook het warm water. Alles was ook enigszins smoezelig.

Gute Lage, aber wir hatten uns mehr erhofft

Sehr gute Lage, tolle Aussicht und ein funktionierender Smart-TV.

Permanenter muffiger Geruch und Nässe in der Unterkunft. Im niedrigen Dachboden stand das Bett mit stark nach Nässe riechender Bettwäsche, welches wir für keine der Nächte genutzt haben. Wir sind stattdessen auf die fleckige und ramponierte Couch umgezogen. Im Bad befindet sich ein winziges Waschbecken ohne Warmwasser, ein mit Rost besetzter Waschbeckenunterschrank sowie komplett verostete Duschbad Ablage. Die Dusche ist nur über eine wenig funktionsfähige Mischbatterie nutzbar. Die tolle Lage, die ausreichend ausgestattete Küche sowie die sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin konnten für uns leider nicht über den schlechten Zustand der Unterkunft hinwegtäuschen.

Sehr gute Lage

Leider ist die Unterkunft eiskalt und nur mit einer Gasheizung beheizbar, die man wegen Kohlenmonoxid nicht allzu lange anhaben durfte. Das Bad ist gar nicht beheizbar, in der ganzen Wohnung hatte es 13 Grad. Es gab eine Heizdecke, die voller Flecken war. Ebenso das Sofa und der Teppich. In der Küche fehlen einige Sachen und das Geschirr war von Vormietern dreckig hinterlassen worden
