Hidden Gem: Historical Gastown

Charmant petit appartement bien aménagé et situé au cœur de la ville.

Le matelas est inconfortable et la structure du Murphy bed m’a parue fragile: ça craque et tient grâce à des planches et des vis qui ont été ajoutées.

Location was great

Communication about luggage storage after check out was poor; also the location amongst Vancouver’s homeless was a surprise

While it was around the corner from a sketchy part of Hastings, the property was very secure and well maintained. The apartment was clean and well decorated. The neighborhood as a whole was fantastic. Just 1/2 block down is the start of coffee shops, vintage boutiques and great restaurants.

Although it advertised WiFi and we were given the link and passcode, it was not available the entire time we were there. For this reason the television was not usable. We tried multiple times to contact the landlord by email, text, and a phone call with no reply ever. The Murphy bed was a bit unstable, the shower handle fell off when you tried to adjust the temperature and there were no washcloths or hand towels provided.
