Epworth Cottage

The property was very spacious, with a lovely seating area at the back. My family of 6 adults had plenty of room & the ‘massive’ dining table was great for meals together.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding attractions while still enjoying a peaceful and relaxing setting. The cottage itself was exceptionally spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to prepare meals when we wanted to eat in. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the sofa was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The hosts were fantastic throughout, with excellent communication before and during our stay. They were quick to respond and provided all the information we needed, which made everything stress-free from start to finish. If you're staying here, a visit to The Loaf Bakery is a must. It's only a minute's walk away and the toasties were absolutely delicious, as were the cakes! We also highly recommend RK Lounge, just a couple of doors up. It was one of the best Indian restaurants we've eaten at, with outstanding food and hospitality that was second to none. As an added bonus, it's BYOB, and with Budgens right next door, it's incredibly convenient. During our stay we also visited The Old Black Swan, the Comrades Club (Royal British Legion) behind the cottage, and The Cliff Inn, around a 10-minute walk away. All were lovely places to visit, with welcoming atmospheres and friendly staff. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay in a great location, and we wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

A spacious, clean and tidy cottage in a great location. We loved the little extra touches, like the Welcome Box, lots of toys for the children to use and even chews for our dog. Very helpful hosts and great communication throughout.
