Southampton Central Budget Accomodation

Property was clean and in good location, staff also friendly

Nothing it was all good and as expected

This is student halls of residence which is let out to other guests over the summer. I stayed last year a few times and have stayed this year just once. The experience is variable depending on room and neighbours but this time I had a good room with considerate neighbours. Wifi is good and most staff are pleasant - the young lady who checked me in was very pleasant and, despite some issue with the "system" was able to check me in efficiently.

It seems a little pricey for student accommodation and I had to factor in parking at around £7 a day. I stayed a few times last year because it seemed to be cheaper, but it is often possible to get a decent B&B for the same price when parking is factored in. Last year my room came equipped with mug, plate and bowl, but nothing this year. At least a mug for a cup of coffee would have been handy. There is a kitchen, but difficult to use without any crockery/cuttlery!

Great location close to Southampton shopping and cafes. Ideal for an inexpensive overnight for single cruisers

The warden very helpful and gone above the way to make my stay comfortable
