* Window of my room opened right to the street so if I wanted to let daylight in, passers by could also look in.

Very nice host. Friendly and helpful. This place is for budget travellers. And it IS good value for money. I liked the location. 15 min. walk with luggage from the harbour. My balcony was a surprise. Great views of Pico!
I was there when it was not too warm. So I felt very cold in the room which is without heating. In the Summer this will not be a problem of course.
