El Tropical Fruit Garden està ubicat en una finca on hi ha tota classe de fuites tropicals, hort, verdures, gallines, plantació de cafè, figues, nous de macadàmia, mangos, papaies, etc., i moltes flors. És increïble tenir unes vistes d'un entorn tan natural, tant des de les habitacions com des de la cuina i el menjador.
La casa és gran, tota exterior, molt espaiosa, ben equipada, assolellada, amb tot el que puguis necessitar per cuinar i per trobar-t'hi a gust, i està situada a la "Faixa de Sant Amaro", a menys de deu minuts en cotxe del centre de Velas.
Els propietaris viuen a la casa del costat i això facilita qualsevol cosa que puguis necessitar. La Bernardette i el José van ser molt atents i molt amables. Ens va regalar plàtans, raïm, fruita, tot acabat de collir, i en José i un convidat que tenia, ens van explicar moltes coses sobre el cultiu del cafè, etc.
Van facilitar-nos moltíssima informació sobre les diferents activitats que es poden fer a l'illa, restaurants, etc., i també ens van contactar el transport amb taxi, quan el vam necessitar.
Per nosaltres els allotjaments locals són autèntics doncs ens permeten interactuar amb la gent del lloc i conéixer, més a fons, la seva manera de viure, costums, etc.
Si busques un allotjament fora del centre, però a prop de Velas, i vols estar en un entorn natural, et recomanem el Tropical Fuit Garden.
Si tornem a l'illa repetirem.

The best host ever. I have never seen such welcoming and helpful person before. Helped with everything: transportation, temporary accommodation, recomendations regarding places, etc. Told us some history facts and showed a little bit around the island. The place itself is very calm, close to the ocean and surrounded by fresh air. The best restaurant of the whole island is just 3 minutes by car to the mountains. Inside you have everything that may be needed. Free parking just close to the house. Washing machine with some detergent is also available - that may be useful if you are in the middle of your journey and need to refresh your clothes.
Almost nothing to say here. If it's too hot outside you may feel lack of air conditioning but that is not crucial and very rare situation for Azores. Numerous advantages and especially the attitude of the host cover everything.
