Amazing views of the ocean. Friendly staff (Helen) who answered all of our questions and even helped us create a plan of the spots to visit on the island. The property itself is great, the hot tub worked great and was one of the reasons we made this booking. Breakfast was also excellent. For days we had to get up early, Helen made sure we had breakfast prepared ahead of time so we could eat it in the morning whenever we needed to.

We had a wonderful stay. Helena the host is super kind and gave us great tips and recommendations for hikes, places to visit and restaurants.
The House is beautiful, and super confortable and clean. The location is fantastic and the views are amazing!
The bed was fantastic too, we had the best sleep. The place is so peaceful. And waking up with the view to the ocean is a dream.
The breakfast was also great, fantastic ingredients and variety. Thank you Mariana for preparing It every morning ❤️
In the description of the place It says there is a common kitchen, but this one used to be outside of the House and is no longer available. The kitchen in the House is private. Nonetheless, since we had some stuff to prepare, Helena was super kind and gave us access to the kitchen so we could use It.

Fabulous location on the southern side of Pico island to go exploring. Helen was so welcoming and gave us some great information of things to do for our visit to Pico. Beds were comfortable and room was clean and quiet. Good selection at breakfast.

Location was great if you want a quiet time. Town of Sao Joao is a traditional Portuguese village. There is a grocery store and small cafe at bottom of hill about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive away. There are a number of restaurant options available in nearby towns 10 to 20 minutes drive away. View from room was amazing overlooking village and ocean. Premises was clean with separate room to entertain or watch TV. Large bathroom with Jetted Tub was in our unit. Nice patio's outside but weather was too poor for us to enjoy them.
Host does not reside at location. She did have a pleasant staff person (Marianna) come to location each morning to serve breakfast. Internet was a little bit spotty. If you go during winter like we did heater in bedroom did not get hot enough.
