My host was super friendly and gave a personal tour of the apartment and made sure I had what I needed. Before booking, know that this is an apartment in an apartment complex. If you’re expecting bougie boutique accommodation, you’ll be disappointed. If you’re happy with safe, comfy, affordable and very centrally located accommodation, this is ideal.
The train line behind the apartment took getting used to the first night!

Ideal self-catering apartment for two. Kitchen was well kitted to meet our needs. Our very generous host left milk, cereal, biscuits, a bottle of water and a bottle of wine to welcome us - real treat! Wi-fi worked well and we easily streamed our favourite show on the TV.
It was a really hot week in Cape Town while we were there, and there was no ceiling fan in the bedroom, so we had to keep the windows open through the night for some cool air - the mosquitoes bothered us! Having said that, a mosquito net was provided, but we were just too lazy to use it! Not too big a deal for us, though.
