Cozy Rondebosch Apartment

We stay here everytime my granddaughter goes for chemo at Rondebosch Mediclinic. Currently she is there for immuno therapy after which a stem cell transplant will be done towards the end of September. We will need longer periods for accomodation at a special rate. Is there any possibility of doing longer periods at special rates?

The location is incredibly convenient, with shops, restaurants, and other amenities all within easy reach.

When you switch on the bathroom light, the extractor fan comes on as well. It is a little loud, but that’s just how these fans operate, so it’s not really anyone’s fault.

The property was very convenient for us, visiting a family member

Whilst we appreciated knowing the property was secure, the initial process felt a little like entering Fort Knox. It was quite noisy at night, with residents returning home at all hours, talking loudly, banging doors etc.

- It’s location was convenient and very cozy

- The house needs a deep clean. The person cleaning needs to be able to lift and push stuff around to get the dust wholly. The stored utensils were filthy, remnants of foods stuck on the pots, plastic spoons….. - Beddings need to be updated. White linen and towels with stains that seem to not go away ain’t pleasing. The mattress needs to be changed. It’s very uncomfortable. - There should be a vacuum cleaner. The carpet harbors a lot of dust, on it and under it… even if it’s brushed on the surface. - For long term visitors I believe a cleaner should be provided once a week (you can choose to up your rates). Imagine staying for 10 days, for a traveler who 90% of the time is indoors. 3rd day when the cleaner had to come re-do the house, the trash can was already full. I cook & eat indoors. So from Thursday to the following week by Tuesday, the trash bag was full, I wasn’t told where to go dump the trash. As a woman, the small trash can in the bathroom got full end of week 1, what saved me was, I wasn’t told decently wrapping the contents so that the odor would be contained. I’d rather you not provide the shampoo, conditioner, handwashing & lotion in the bathroom and provide more tissue paper, more towels, more bed linens
