No. 9 Keurboom

LIesl was a very accommodating hostess - got early arrival so we could have a shower after arriving off an overnight flight and then a late check out so we didn't have to "play in the traffic" too long before our return evening flight. Location was perfect for getting around the local area - 20 mins into town, 20 mins to Constantia - Cape Town locals moan about the traffic but compared to London it really isn't that bad. Just avoid 6-9am and 3-6pm when commuters are on the roads. The room was a nice size, comfy beds, good water pressure in the shower and a nice outside area to sit in - the weather for us wasn't great but can imagine on a summer's evening that it would be good spot for a sundowner. We ate out but there was kitchen equipment if you decided to eat in with microwave, induction hob, kettle, fridge. Offstreet parking behind a big gate so safe for the hired car. No bars on the windows or doors which was great as that is a downside to SA life these days. Felt plenty safe enough there.

Keurboom Road is a busy one so traffic noise starts early but we were up and out doing stuff so didn't bother us that much. The addition of a hairdryer would be good! Possibly a bigger duvet on the main bed in No2 as if you have a duvet hogger for a husband, you end up cold! I used a single duvet off one of the beds in the second bedroom.

Private, secure, great location and beautifully laid out inside.

Location fantastic. Pretty, clean, lovely patio, generous little touches like rusks and enough real milk.
