Botuin Cottages

Everything was good and clean. Beds comfortable, linen clean. Owner very kind and friendly. Felt welcome.

I did not like the fact that the bathroom had a clear window with only a thin lace curtain. Made me feel uncomfortable to shower with the lights on.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Vanrhynsdorp! Our host, Salome, went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We can wholeheartedly recommend her place, and will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect

We stayed at Botuin Cottages for one night while passing through Vanrhynsdorp. It’s a lovely, quiet place and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen, which was very convenient. We also had our own private braai area outside the unit, which was a nice bonus. The host was lovely and came to check that everything was okay and that we were enjoying our stay. We also really appreciated that the property is pet-friendly, which is important for us when traveling with our furry family member. The road leading to the gate is a little rough and mostly gravel, but it was manageable. Overall, it was a comfortable and peaceful stay, and a great stop for our one night in Vanrhynsdorp.

The only thing was the road leading to the property, which was a bit rough and gravelly. Other than that, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay.
