Miriam House Florence - full apartment - relax & comfort

意大利8月初太热了，房间的空调不够制冷。

Apartment is huge. Very well equipped. Near bus stop. Everything is new and nice. There is also parking space in front of building. Neighborhood is nice. Host was very nice and check on us if we need anything.

Conveniently located near the airport and local buses to the main town 10min ride. The apartment has a large kitchen and lounge area with each room air conditioned. The host was exceptional taking time to ensure transport to and from the apartment are arranged and all needs met.

The elevator and parking were good.

The property itself is not like the pictures. They tried to renovate it, but it is still quite old and needs many repairs. The cleanliness of the beds was acceptable, but other areas, such as the sitting area and kitchen, need significant improvement. There was also visible mold on the bathroom roof. The location is very inconvenient if you want to visit the city and is not as described. It is not very close to public transportation, and there is no direct connection to downtown. We were often pushed to use taxis to go to and return from downtown because of the property’s inconvenient location. Although I reserved this property specifically because it was advertised as having air conditioning, the air conditioners did not work properly. The host explained that this was due to the municipality reducing the electricity supply. However, after speaking with several taxi drivers, we were told that this was not the case, and other areas did not appear to have the same problem. Overall, I do not recommend this property. I was thankful that I had not reserved it for more than two nights, as I was already looking forward to leaving. Unfortunately, this property did not give us a good experience of Florence, especially after having such a great stay in Milan.
