Cosy and relaxing BnB away from the hustle and bustle of Florence!

Beautiful and cosy BnB with a great kitchenette! Clean, accomodating, and great communication with property. Florence is huge on tourism, so it was so wonderful to take a step away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Situated in a quiet area but well accommodated with Esselunga and Lidl close by! Would highly recommend!

Overall, the location was a plus, but the room amenities and washing machine issues were notable drawbacks.

The location was convenient, with a Lidl grocery store, cafes, and a bus stop all within a 10-minute walk. The area was neat and clean. The cleaner was nice n friendly n did guide us.

There were two issues that caught our attention. Firstly, the washroom for Room 2 was located outside the room, which wasn't mentioned beforehand. This made it inconvenient to use the facilities, especially at night. Secondly, the washing machine wasn't cleaned, as it was filled with dirty water and hadn't drained. This was quite disappointing.

Fantastic

This was actually such a lovely stay. Room was spacious, clean and had more than everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. And check-in was super smooth and easy. It’s a 10 minute bike ride to the center. And enough buses and other public transportation close by. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect comfortable apartment in a quiet neighbourhood

Great - comfortable and well equipped apartment. A perfect relaxation place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's fairly easy to get the bus into town and also fairly well connected with the airport. Kitchen was very well equipped. Also the host kindly let us store bags at a hotel in central Florence which was super useful.

Very good

The apartment is on very nice location, about 30min walk do the city center. It's comfortable, clean, with small but useful "terrace". It has washing machine, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen.

In first we had good communication with the owner. We were told to pay the tourist tax via our bank, on the owners name, which we couldn't do for some reason (the problem was our bank, I suppose). So we went to the Florence bank and found out that it will cost us 9EUR commission to pay the taxes there, and it is better to give the money to the owner so they would do it without commission. Later we found out that IS the best way to pay taxes, just give the money to the owner. So I contacted the owner, and asked them if I could leave the money at the apartment - no answer. Another message - no answer. Then I called the mobile number of the contact they left, and after they heard I speak English they hung up and didn't answer anymore. So in the end I went to the bank and payed the taxes + 9eur commission, because in the main message by the owner there was warning in Caps lock that I have to pay the taxes or I could face the consequences.

LOCATION WAS TOO FAR, THERE WAS ANY TAXI AVAILABLE IN THE PLACE WE STAY. IT WAS TOOHARD FORUS TOCOMETO CITY CENTER.

missing detail: "...private bathroom" are external to the room.

comfortable and fast check in

I don't understand why the host failed to mention the "private bathroom" is out side of the room? this was a huge surprise. The place smelled really bad. someone was cooking and it stank the entire place - not something one can ignore. The bathroom, though private as they were, also smelled bad of mold and humidity.

Boiling room and mosquitos

Room was modern and reasonably clean.

Property did not tell us until just before our stay that we could go straight to the apartment without collecting the keys in the centre as we had been instructed so drove all the way into the city center to then be told they had messaged me earlier that day (an hour before) most hotels tell you atleast a week before. Apartment is a long distance from city centre, around a 35 minute walk and no close by shops/cafes open on a Sunday. Although the room is modern it only had a ceiling fan which did not cool the room at all, it was therefore boiling day/night and extremely difficult to sleep or be in the room at all. The room had a private bathroom which was outside the door this caused problems in the night/showering and running across the hallway and although it is was due to be private bathroom others were using the bathroom and somebody took both rolls of toilet paper that were in there. The final issue we had were mosquitos, they were everywhere in the apartment/bathroom, my partner killed alot and we even went out to buy plug insbut we woke every morning covered in bites.

Una tarde perdida pasada por agua.

1.La primera tarde hubo una inundación proveniente del agua de la lavadora que estaba descompuesta. Los otros huéspedes y nosotros pasamos casi 3 horas barriendo, secando el piso y retirando las alfombras. Junto con los huespedes de la otra habitacion enviamos mensajes al host pero nadie nunca respondió. 2. A los dos dias el alojamiento anuló la reserva alegando que la tarjeta de crédito no pasó, cuando el cobro se hizo efectivo al momento de la reserva, un mes antes . El mensaje de Booking decia que me reembolsarían el cobro.. Pensé que era una manera de compensarnos por la mala experiencia de la inundacion. Les escribí al respecto pero nunca contestaron.

Upraktisk men rimelig leilighet

Sengen var god. Ok utstyrt kjøkken. Det var en slags uteplass som hadde sikkert fungert på sommeren, eller for de som røyker. Det er for dårlig plass der til å bruke den ellers. Varmt vann, ok hårføner. Vaskemaskin som er ikke så lett å forstå, bruker lang tid på vask. Aircondition som vi ikke hadde prøvd. Stor TV med italienske kanaler. Det beste er tilbudet om å legge fra seg bagasjen og hvile på et hotell ved stasjonen, noe som løftet opp oppholdet vårt betydelig. God pris.

Leiligheten er trang og upraktisk. Veldig høyt under taket, samtidig som det er lite plass ellers, gir dårlig romfølelse. Det er ingen spisebord. Det sidebordet som er avbildet kan ikke brukes med stoler, så man må sitte og spise i sengen, noe som ødela oppholdet vårt fullstendig. Kjøleskapet bråker såpass mye at det må kobles ut om natten. Det er forøvrig mye støy fra andre enheter, spesielt når folk går inn og ut, gjerne om natten, forsterket av ekko. Det ødela søvnen vår natt etter natt, tross for ørepropper. Ingen plass til bagasje eller til å henge opp klær. Litt tilfeldig møblering som er ikke gjennomtenkt eller praktisk. Ingen plass til egne saker på det trange badet. Man får mørke håndklær som ikke ser rene ut. Sengetøyet virket heller ikke rent. Leiligheten er ok for en natt eller to, spesielt hvis man ikke lager mat, men vi var der i 4 netter og hadde lyst til å lage frokost og middag selv, så det fungerte veldig dårlig.

Tutto perfetto

L'appartamento era ottimo e con tutti i servizi essenziali. Pulito ed accogliente. Ho apprezzato molto la gentilezza dell'host e la posizione strategica vicino alla Visarno Arena. Essendo fuori dal centro, c'è anche poco chiasso e passaggio di macchine. L'appartamento inoltre, è vicino a diversi supermercati. Se dovessi mai tornare al Firenze Rock, probabilmente ritornerei proprio qui.

Struttura ristrutturata di recente, molto nuova. Sistema checkin veloce e semplice. Posizione abbastanza vicina alla stazione (con mezzi o bici/monopattino)

Ho trovato vari capelli sia a terra che sulle lenzuola (che ho tolto). Sempre sulle lenzuola c'erano delle macchie. Su booking è segnato "Bagno privato", in realtà è un bagno in comune. Ovviamente queste osservazioni le faccio affinchè i gestori possano dare un servizio migliore, non ci fossero state queste due cose avrei dato il massimo dei voti.

Se proprio devo trovare qualcosa da migliorare è che nell'armadio non c'era posto per appendere le camicie, infatti non erano presenti neanche le grucce.

Notte a Firenze

Camera confortevole e pulita, posizione ottima con numerosi parcheggi nelle vicinanze. Comoda la cucina dotata di tutto l'occorrente. Bagno esterno situato proprio di fronte alla camera. Se dovessi tornare in zona lo sceglierei sicuramente di nuovo!

In camera sono presenti moka e bollitore, avrei gradito una piccola selezione di the e caffe per poter li utilizzare, dato erano presenti i biscotti per la colazione
