About this house rental
The Tree House is a newly completed custom waterfront home that blends Adirondack comfort with modern luxury. Our home is built into a cliff-side and offers multiple decks, 3 bedrooms including a private primary suite, an outfitted gourmet kitchen, and 40' private dock.
The house sleeps 7 people comfortably in 3 bedrooms and the loft space. Two bedrooms have queens beds, 1 bedroom has a full bed, and there is an extra large twin in the loft. We also have two air mattresses if needed.
The house has a gas grill, outdoor fire pit down by the dock, and 2 kayaks and one stand-up paddle board for exploring the lake and nearby Rock Brothers Island. Close to the house there are hiking trails in Gull Bay Preserve. Guests are also welcome to rent a boat and park it at our dock during their stay.
Nearby towns and attractions include: Ticonderoga town and Fort Ticonderoga (20 mins), hiking at Anthony's Nose (20 minutes), Hague town (35 mins) Lake George Village (1 hr), Bolton Landing (1 hr).
Lake George has been important to our family for generations and we hope you will visit and fall in love with it too! It’s the perfect place to gather with friends and family, and retreat to the quiet of northern Lake George!

We (3 adults, 3 doodle dogs) stayed at the Tree House for a week in early September and were blessed with fantastic weather (almost) the whole time. We absolutely plan to stay here again next year. The only concern we'd share is that the steps to the loft are very steep, and so as a sleeping space, that should be taken into account for your party.
Bedrooms/bathrooms: 5 stars - comfortable, beautiful views, spacious. Good water pressure.
Kitchen/Living spaces: 5 stars - prepare meals overlooking beautiful lake and sunsets. Grill on upper deck. dine inside or al fresco. get cozy in front of the gas fireplace. very comfortable furniture. Upper deck was fully enclosed - great for dogs/kids not wandering off.
Location: 5 stars - quiet, idyllic, friendly, peaceful neighborhood, with welcoming neighbors. Plenty of space to walk the dogs, lots of green space, friendly chats with residents. 20 minutes to Ticonderoga town by car - no issue for groceries, liquor, take-out dining, or even late night ice cream runs.
Lake access: 5 stars - there are 50 or so steps from the house to the lake, but they are very sturdy and stable. No electricity down to the dock, so no lighted swimming after dark. Also, no beach or step access to water, only a swim ladder. None of these things prevented us from enjoying our time here.
Hosts: 5 stars - Laurie was great to work with. Super communicative, helpful, and supportive. No questions unanswered within 15 minutes.

This house was great! Super clean and accommodating for my family. There are many stairs from the house to the dock but we enjoyed the extra cardio!

Our stay was fabulous! Laurie and Connor made it so easy to enjoy ourselves. The house was gorgeous, clean, spacious but very comfortable and cozy at the same time. While the weather did not cooperate we took advantage of everything the house had to offer. From the Kayaks to the beautiful sunsets off the dock, to stargazing from the top deck. Simple beautiful! We didn’t have to bring anything! Definitely will be going back!
