About this house rental

Waterfront home on flat 1 acre with direct southern exposure to the queen of Americas lakes, Lake George. Dock space for four boats.. Cook mountain preserve 1 mile away. City water and city sewer, and the town is only 1 mile away yet very secluded and private. Watch Canada geese paddle in front of you or fly overhead. Snug harbor marina is 300 yards up the la Chute river. Kayak to prisoner island or visit Fort Ticonderoga. You would never know it from the peaceful serenity of your deck, but there is a Walmart in town to supply all your needs. Or, catch your dinner from your own shore. On a rainy day head to the bowling alley,the revolutionary war museum, or the only CBS sanctioned Star Trek set! Charter a fishing trip on Lake George or Lake Champlain.

Clean and warm and comfortable. Giant green lawn leading to the lake. A large fire pit. A large deck with a big high top dining table perfect for dinner. Lots of Adirondack chairs and lounge chairs on both the top and bottom patios. A double hammock and porch swing. Best part of all was how comfortable the owners made it. They didn’t lock things up and hang privacy signs all over and lock closets and leave excessive instructions. They really open their home to you completely. A well-stocked and well-equipped, home. Overall a lovely experience.
