Cotswolds Cottage 5min from Soho Farmhouse

It was homely, cosy and very inviting

Really cosy, quaint, great village and great location. Bed was super comfy, the pint of milk in the fridge was a god send for tea's and coffee's.

I arrived a wee bit later than anticipated and so took about 45minutes in the village and asking in the pub to be pointed in the right direction - once I'd found the gate it was fine.

I had the most amazing time this weekend - the cottage is so spacious and is also very homely and cosy. Everything is done to the highest quality and the sofa and bed were both so comfy. The hosts left lovely sweet treats for arrival with tea/coffee etc. The cottage has a beautiful outdoor area too. The location was 10/10 - lovely pubs and walks nearby! We would definitely come back

Cottage was comfortable and nice sitting out area

When I booked it said that there was a microwave and high chair which we needed for our baby heating food and feeding, however, when we arrived this was not the case which was not good after driving around 200 miles then struggling to find the actual cottage in Enstone due to satnav and needing to feed our baby sat on my partner’s knee (when he would have otherwise been unpacking the bags from the car whilst I fed our baby to save time after our long journey) and heating food up via the hob. We tried to message but they just said we don’t have a microwave and then when I went into enquire about high chair situation it would not let me send any messages anymore. Also it would have been a nice touch to assemble the travel cot for us so we were not rooting around in the cupboards in the bedroom after our long journey but I suppose that is more of a nice to have in terms of customer service than an essential. Note that google sat nav details a place on the opposite side of the road - we drove around this a few times and asked someone in the local pub Crown Inn - turns out cottage is on opposite side of road to pub. They had left a few goodies which is always a nice appreciated touch but it turned out that the crisps were out of date - fortunately we had checked them before eating so binned accordingly.
