Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

Lovely property layout perfect for a family, around 20/30 mins to most local attractions and Oxford park and ride. Host very responsive, the house was warm ,clean, stocked with everything you need & we enjoyed the monopoly, the hot tub was lovely.

It was a shame but did let the stay down as the amenities weren’t working dishwasher, tumble dryer & one of the ovens, fridge freezer was too small for a family and freezer full of ice. There is only one bathroom which Isn’t ideal for the size of the house & we also had an issue with the neighbour with an unjustified complaint about the hot tub.

Fabulous - 100% recommend

Absolutely beautiful home and we genuinely loved our stay. The rooms were all a really good size, as was the hot tub (four adults fit comfortably). We would absolutely stay here again and can recommend to anyone visiting the area. Any queries to host prior to visit were answered promptly and all information sent prior to arrival.

Nothing major just some wear and tear but it didn’t affect our stay in the slightest. In one of the bedrooms a side table top had come off its legs and a roof light handle had dropped from hinges (same room). But these things honestly were not an issue for us whilst we were there we would still return in a heartbeat.

We had a great time in a very well equipped house with comfortable beds and everything we needed

Location was excellent with a couple of local pubs and a shop nearby within walking distance and Chipping Norton was only 8-10 mins away in the car.

Unacceptable

Beautiful house, fabulous location

Upon arrival in January we had no heating or hot water. After hours of trying and contacting the landlord, a plumber was sent at 10pm. A leaky radiator in the bedroom had soaked the carpet making it unusable. The next day the upstairs toilet malfunctioned and was on a continuous flush, flooding the house. We contacted the landlord at 8am but a plumber did not arrive until 4.30pm meaning we had NO water to the house for the entire day. The landlord is now not answering calls and messages and booking.com will not compensate us. Booking.com will NOT help if anything were to go wrong, their advise is to contact the agent but the agent/landlord is ignoring us. Booking.com offers zero security for unscrupulous agents/landlords. We paid £776 for one weekend in this house and had no water for the whole stay with NO compensation. This is wholly unacceptable.
