The outside area was spacious and private and was good to have and allowed us to enjoy the weather

The property had no air conditioning and this made it very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. There are ceiling fans and also standing fans but they merely waft the warm air around. The second bathroom is VERY small and that’s not made clear in the photos or in the description of the property The property description says that entire property is on the ground floor but the bedrooms and main bathroom are in the first floor. This was not a problem for us but for someone with reduced mobility, this might be an issue. Whilst not in the heart of Viareggio it is still within walking distance of the resort centre. We were asked to deal with the rubbish at the property. Clearer guidelines and instructions ( in English) would be helpful.

Klima fehlt

Große Doppelhaushälfte, alles vorhanden. Die Kaffeemaschine war doch leider eine andere als erhofft. Gute Lage, zum Strand und ins Zentrum jeweils ca. 12 bis 15 min zu Fuß. Parkplatz vor der Tür.

Wöchentliche Straßenreinigung, das heißt, man muss sich z.B. am Samstag einen anderen Parkplatz suchen. Die Müllabfuhr war auch manchmal etwas kompliziert.

Die Villa Margherita ist ein einseitig angebautes Doppelhaus. Die andere Seite war nicht bewohnt. Alle notwendigen Küchengeräte waren vorhanden. Der Kontakt mit der örtlichen Verwaltung lief nur über Internet (Mail) und auf Englisch. Der Zugangsschlüssel war in einem Kästchen am Gartentor hinterlegt. Wir erhielten den Code per eMail. Am Ende des Aufenthaltes musste der Schlüssel wieder dort deponiert werden.

Wir reisten mit dem Zug an. Von der örtlichen Verwaltung erhielten wir einen Busfahrplan. Es zeigte sich jedoch, dass unser Bus nur bis zum 14. September verkehrte. Unsere Anreise war am 20. September. Ein Taxi brachte uns zum Ferienort und am Ende wieder zum Bahnhof. Dazwischen war viel Laufen angesagt. Des Weiteren steht das Haus an einer viel befahrenen Strasse. Zum Teil auch nachts war viel los.
