Frolander Bay Resort - Dolphin RV

Lovely place. Very kind and thoughtful owner left a note for our daughter who was there for a race. Hot tub was lovely before and after a hard day of biking. Place is a wee bit smaller than we thought but was great.

We had such a lovely short stay in the Dolphin RV. It was our first time visiting Powell River, and the RV had everything we needed to relax and unwind. Super quiet and private and extremely clean. Kristin was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Having a hot tub and barbecue on the covered deck was so nice during our rainy weekend visit. The thoughtful touch of leaving us eggs from Kristin's chickens and ducks was so sweet, and the eggs were delicious. The bed was very cozy with a very comfortable mattress. While we were on our way, Kristin messaged us to let us know that the bake stand down the lane from Frolander Resort called Honour Box Bakery was open that day. If you catch them open.... Make a point of stopping by! The baked goods were unbelievable and made our weekend that much better.We had an amazing time and are already planning our next visit!

Hubby and i stayed in both the tiny home and dolphin rv and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in both. Kristin was super accommodating in so many ways while at the same time giving us complete privacy. Dolphin RV pros: had a bigger deck which enabled us to stayed completely dry in the rain The black out roller blinds allowed for a restful sleep Con: wasn't as private as the tiny home Tiny home pros: almost everything Cons: no gutters on tiny home and the pergola didn't protect us from getting soaked. When it rained the patio seats were wet with no way to dry.
