Loch Awe Hotel

Location views and overall appearance and feel is great. It feels a bit 'empty' in places and although a bit tired in places, the room facilities and general cleanliness were great. Staff were all very pleasant. Food and service at breakfast was very good

This is a hotel that appears to be owned and ran by the tour company 'Lochs and Glens' So your fellow guests are mainly bus tour guests. There were other booking.com guests but they're in the minority. The hotel treats every guest like a bus tour guest. Dinner is a pretty restricted menu and is served at set times. Breakfast is at 8.00am on the dot. "Please dont be late" This made for a more old fashioned 1970s blackpool guest house feel, rather than a £150 a night highland B&B.

Fun night with live music bingo and dancing. Great views. Great staff.

The place is incredibly well located, the views are breathtaking and they carry a lot of the good of this place.

The food is not good. The breakfast options are poor and very lacking, while the dinner was a bit tasteless, nothing special. The hotel looks more expensive but the food makes a disservice to them.

The historical building itself is fantastic. Could be so much more.

Hotel is very tired, rooms very basic, bathrooms very basic, Food is very basic, good pub across the road though. Staff were unhelpful at best.
