The accommodation was in a great location. It was so cosy, clean & warm. The bathroom was amazing with a large walk in shower and freestanding bath.

The Location was good.

This hotel got very good reviews but they were not accurate!! It is acceptable, no way as nice as the reviews state. It is old of course but it is worn down as well. loose handrails on the stairs, worn carpet, mold in shower, poor lighting on very steep spiral stairs. Included breakfast was bad even for a continental breakfast. The restaurant floor tables and chairs were all in bad shape. even the coffee was bad! The staff was very nice and helpful, however.

When upstairs walked about the windows rattled…late at night.

We were given room 16 across the road from the main building, and through the archway. The room on the first floor was accessed easily, and it was amazing! The bathroom was very modern and spacious, as was the bedroom. If we return, it will be to room 16!

Nothing really. I'm not a fan of timber framed beds, which although comfy, can make getting in and out painful if shins contact the wooden side rails!

It was right in town which made it easy to do anything you wanted. The coffee in the room was great and having a nice big tub was night to soak in after a long day.

It was very loud at night. Since you were right in the street, you can hear people talking as if they were in your room. They give you eye masks and ear plugs to help with the sound but it was still very loud. I wasn’t able to go to sleep until 1:30 am.

The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on! Breakfast was generous and all staff were wonderfully welcoming. The room size was generous and presentation was homely.

The noise from the Main Street meant sleep was interrupted. We left the windows open so that didn’t help. The earplugs provided were an excellent touch and we are grateful to have them handy by the bedside. Given the space in the bathroom, it would be beneficial to have a stand by the basin. There was a chair but not big enough.

The room was clean, comfortable and cosy whilst also being modern. Loved the bathroom. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the smart TV. Found free parking easily on Main Street. Close to all Inverary attractions and enjoyed drinking and eating in local pubs. Would definitely stay again!!

Room was gorgeous, huge bathroom, tastefully decorated and spotless. Continental breakfast was ample. All staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Brambles shouts at you that someone cares! The whole place is immaculately presented, with a touch of understated flare! My room was spacious, as was the en-suite. The bed was hugely comfortable and the location is perfect for everything in beautiful Inveraray! The cafe/restaurant at ground level is absolutely perfect with lovely food served by pleasant, helpful staff! Go!

What a lovely place! We felt right at home immediately. Our rooms were so spacious and comfy - the bathroom was gigantic and I couldn't resist taking a bath in the wonderful new bathtub. The bath products also smelled amazing. There were little treats in the room and really nice mugs for tea and coffee in the morning. Everything was also super clean. We had dinner next door at The George (I think that's what it was called) which was delightful and there's a little store across the street from the hotel that has pretty much anything you could need. We had to leave early in the morning so couldn't enjoy the breakfast that was offered but they gave us to-go containers for food and drinks which was very kind. The woman who welcomed us initially was also very friendly and helpful. It's a sweet little town - highly recommend if you're stopping through!

The room was in a great location. It is an historic building they have well apportioned into generous deluxe rooms. The included continental breakfast was a well supplied buffet with lots of options. The staff was very friendly.

The only negative is the bed was too soft.

The rooms were very large, beautifully presented and very clean. Breakfast was delicious.

The only tiny thing was that we could hear the cafe below setting up the next morning. Probably only affects the room we were in. We were up anyway so it wasn’t a problem for us but if you wanted a lie in, it might be.

Loved the location of the hotel on the main street there in town, the room itself and the morning breakfast options. All the staff we interacted with during check-in and morning breakfasts were very friendly and helpful.

Right in the centre of town with good restaurants near by for evening meal. Continental breakfast very good.

Going up to 3rd floor with cases and no lift at 76 years of age, bit of a struggle. Bedside lights too dull to read by.

Located very centrally. Staff were excellent prior to arrival when we had to change choice of room.

Not a dislike really because it didn’t affect quality of our stay but there are unsightly marks on the tiled bathroom floor. Room was very clean so they must have been stains. Just doesn’t look great. Also the lane up to the room is quite weedy and untidy and lets down the property a wee bit. These aren’t such a big deal but useful to mention - I hope.

Lovely large room with character. Lots of nice touches, clean and comfortable. Lovely continental breakfast which was complimentary. Would recommend.

A little road noise in the morning but we were ok with this as we are used to it at home.
