Brilliant, comfortable, cosy!

Idyllic

The property is very well appointed, the photos don't really do it justice. The location is picture perfect, with views over the fields to the mountains. Ours was a winter visit and the property was really cosy. We hope to return for a summer break and make the most of the outside space and barbecue area.

Fantastic value, views and facilities. It would be silent outside at night if not for the electricity pilot buzzing but that can’t be helped

Slight black mould around main bedroom window. Handheld shower head needs replacing, main shower head needs a good clean and shower walls could do with a scrub too.

Stunning view, extremely clean, great location.

Location was fab only ten minute drive from the mountain if you’re climbing like we were. It was extremely clean, and had all you needed to cook. The hot tub was fantastic, perfect after a 9 hour hike! The view from the living room, kitchen, hot tub, was incredible! The bed was super comfy, and the shower was lush.

There is a door in the kitchen with no lock on the outside but it was locked from the inside, and it could be accessed by the back door by the owners,,,meaning they could enter the house at any point. For two women staying, we didn’t feel comfortable with that. Especially after the owner told us that he collects bodies from the mountain. It did make us very uncomfortable. Plus they had cameras all around the property so it felt very uncomfortable. But don’t let this put you off, it’s just how we felt.

Peaceful, tranquil, homely

The property was as is advertised yet even more than expected the view as you enter the living room and get the panoramic view of Snowden was second to non.

I feel the phrase didn't like would be to strong as there was no dislikes, we just wish we had stayed longer.

Fabulous

This was our second visit to this beautiful cottage, and it was just as lovely as we remembered. Surrounded by breathtaking views and set in such a peaceful, serene location, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hot tub, plunge barrel, and outdoor bath were fantastic touches that made the stay even more special. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We can’t wait to return!

Wouldn’t rush back

Great location, ideal for climbing Snowdon. Beautiful views of Snowdonia. Comfy beds and clean bed linen.

Inexperienced host / poor welcome. The kitchen was inadequately stocked, no serving plates, side plates etc. Poor experience with the hot tub. Lid was broken and it must have been on some economy setting by the owner. First used it 26 hours after arrival and couldn’t stay in it for long as it was only luke warm. Disappointing as this is the main attraction.

This little gem is stunning! The views are amazing and it is equipped with everything you could need. The bathroom is beautiful and the whole feel of the place is fresh, cosy and homely. The little extras were a lovely thought and we had the best night! The little lambs in the field just made it even more special! It really was perfect!

Gorgeous little place.

My daughters loved the hot tub. Perfect views while relaxing there. The bathroom was very high class, absolutely lovely. It's really nice that there was working WiFi and decent streaming channels in the living room and main bedroom. We did have a nice walk out in the daytime but it's nice to come back to home comforts for the evening. I managed to cook us an evening meal, the kitchen had everything we needed. I'd definitely stay here again.

The rain this morning spoiled my dream of sitting in the hot tub again with my morning cup of tea for the sunrise but you can't change the weather :) I still got my coat out and went out onto the decking to drink it while looking at the misty mountains. So nice to wake up to those views. For sunrise/sunset chasers, it set to the right when looking out on the decking so I'd imagine you'd get a perfect sunrise on the left from this spot in good weather, popping up between the mountains.

A wonderful stay.

We enjoyed amazing views, a relaxing atmosphere at Bryn Mair and the welcome food basket was very much appreciated. We also had additional household extras to facilitate cooking and washing up which made all the difference and there were great bathroom facilities with a wonderful shower and roll top bath. The extra special treat was sitting in the hot tub during the evening under the full moon looking at the outline of Mount Snowdon. Everything was easy, comfortable and welcoming. Very friendly, kind and helpful host.
