Plas Coch, Snowdon Views with Large Garden

Lovely rural location with Mountain View’s, it was so peaceful. The house was so nice inside and we loved the hot tub. It had everything we needed and the beds were really comfy. Easy to get in to the property and good that check out was 11am rather than early. Loved that it was dog friendly too.

Hot tub was easy to use with good instructions - no need to pre heat. The place was immaculate, comfy and had everything you needed. Great views. About a 10 minute drive to Llanberis/Snowdon parking.

It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Clean and tidy with plenty of room for the 3 of us. The decor is lovely, it does need a bit of a touch up (dining area ceiling, hallway walls etc) but it was well designed. Beds were comfy and the views from the double room were stunning, the location and quietness was amazing. We climbed snowdon so the hot tub was a lovely treat after (once we’d got over the ‘debris’ in it. Good amount of kitchen utensils etc. overall really happy with our stay.

The location was really hard to find, the sat nav only took us so far and the sign at the bottom of the drive was faded and covered with the hedge. The toilet seat was broken and came unattached. There was a hair band in the hot tub which showed very clearly it hadn’t been cleaned out between stays and 2 random men started mowing the lawn when we were about to go into the hot tub, we’d had no warning and it was quite a shock! If we’d been in the hot tub would they have carried on regardless? It’s a remote location so felt very intrusive. And the plug socket on the cladding in the twin room was an absolute hazard.

The property is designed well, really cosy sitting room and great TV. Nice secluded area with great views.

Whilst the property was clean there was damp and black speckles of mould on the kitchen ceiling. I think there may be a general damp issue in the house as there’s a musky smell throughout. The outside of the windows upstairs were grotty and covered in green. The hot tub also smelt - this was a damp smell, not sure if this was the water in the hot tub or lid of the hot tub. There were lots of marks across walls which deteriorated the luxurious feel of the property. Overall we don’t think the price reflected the quality of the stay.
