Edie's Hideaway

This house is a lovely little thing. Lovely old style decor and feels like you've gone back in time a bit.. The attic room especially was lovely and airy and light. TV was loved by my kids and Google playing music etc. whenever you shouted out 'Hey Google!' Lots of cooking facilities and space in the kitchen and fridge and freezer very spacious and clean. Two bins provided both for normal waste and for recycling. Overall, a lovely little place. Great location also, not too far from most things, town, the beach etc. and literally around the corner from the train station.

Nothing at all to do with the house or host and no one can really change it but the stairs are quite steep and a bit scary for someone like me.wirh vertigo issues but you actually get more confident the more you use them. Creaks on the stairs when you need to go to the bathroom but other than that absolutely nothing wrong at all..these are both things that don't really matter and don't change your stay or the comforts at all anyway. Just thought I'd mention so people know to expect the steepness

Lots of space for 4 adults & 1 baby Close to all things in Scarborough even Aldi and Tesco are a very short walk away. The house is very old school stylish and had all the mod cons in kitchen (apart from air fryer) The room next to kitchen was lovely - table and settee we never actually used the living room.

It would be great if you could install a toilet upstairs in loft room - are maybe put the twin bed downstairs.

Stairs were steep for OAPs Only one bathroom for a group of 5 was interesting at times.
