Number 53 is a 2 bedroom terrace house perfectly located for Scarborough's many amenities. It is very close to bars, restaurants, supermarkets, rail and bus links. There is no need for a car but if you do travel by car and need parking we can supply free passes for street parking. This can be limited at certain times of the year and so you may not be able to park directly outside but the free passes can also be used in adjacent streets.

The house has a comfy lounge ( brand new sofa) and a SMART tv and WIFI. There is a dining area for 5 people. The newly installed kitchen is very well equipped with all the usual necessities, dishwasher, cooker, hob, microwave, and fridge etc. There is an undercover outside seating area with a table and a couple of chairs. This also houses the washing machine and freezer. There is a small back yard!

Upstairs is a lovely double bedroom and a very comfortable double bed with EMMA mattress and a bamboo, antiallergy, antibacterial mattress cover. Top of the range pillows are supplied for your use. It has a mirrored wardrobe with plenty of storage space and a chest of drawers also another television.
The second bedroom is very versatile. It has a small double bed ( 4 foot) with an EVE mattress. It could accommodate a couple or a couple of children. There is also a fold down bed should your children not be too keen on bunking with their siblings or to accommodate a 5th guest.

The bathroom is newly installed with an L shaped shower bath, loo and washbasin.
Sainsburys park just around the corner and Peasholm Park is a short walk away.
If the official arrival time is not suitable for you we will do our best to have the house ready early for you. We will do everything we can to ensure that you have a great holiday!

We needed somewhere close to train station and bus station so that we could complete the Cleveland way walk, brilliant, everything was there for 4x adults to enjoy a really good week, sadly the weather wasn't good every day but we completed our walk so all good and enjoyed, house gad everything we needed,- thanks

about 5 minutes from the start of town and the train station. the buses go from outside the station. or just down the road. Julie is lovely she make sure everything is ok for you. as for the house it had everything in it, you would need for a holiday, we would go back , when we go to Scarborough ok.

Clean, beautiful house within walking distance of everything you need! Ideal for our family of 5. Julie is the perfect host! Very friendly, fast communication and so helpful! Nothing was too much trouble, lots of information provided both before and during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Julie even offered to look after our luggage after check out, so we could make the most out of our last few hours in Scarborough before heading home. We're already planning our next visit! Thanks again!

the house is spacious, clean & comfortable in an excellent location.5 minute walk to town centre, 3 minute walk to train/bus station. beds were comfortable, kitchen is well equipped.we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.the host was good enough to let us check in a couple of hours early which was much appreciated.communication was good with her with quick responses.

This is a lovely house in a perfect position. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. Decorated to a very high standard and so clean and fresh. Everything was in the house that we needed. And excellent communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend this house and will definately stay there again if we return to scarborough.

As a family of 5 and with a small dog, we are picky about where we stay, but usually with limited options. This house was perfect for out little getaway. It was within walking distance of the main attractions, sufficient space for us all and was lovely and clean.

The communication with Julie was great and she always replied very quickly. House had everything we needed and was in a great location to get to both North & South shores. Some really nice restaurants Eat in cafe and the excellent Cow Shed. Parking is good as passes are provided and if you cant park outside there is always a space just a short walk away. Great getaway and look forward to using again.

House clean and in good decor condition. Unfortunately mattresses were not comfortable and could be greatly improved with quality mattress toppers. Basic kitchen facilities, ok for breakfast and quick meals, may be challenging for families or four adults. TV watching limited and some quality upgrades would make a huge different to this little house.

I booked this property for my grandparents to stay in on their visit from Northern Ireland. The house was immaculately clean with everything they could possible need for their stay, including the use of a washing machine if needed. The house is in a great location, within walking distance of town and there are plenty of shops close by. It is quite hard to find a parking space but this is to be expected as it is a busy residential street and they always managed to get one. They had an absolutely amazing time and would have loved to have stayed another week, they will definitely be back again.

No frills but everything one might need was available. It was clean. Very good location. Good value for the money. We managed to find parking space most days without issue. The only think I can critisize is the double bed lacking comfort as it seems worn.

I spent 3hrs cleaning before cooking hungry tired children their tea. This has been the worst experience of using holiday houses in 15 years. The kitchen was horrific. Appliances were filthy. A nice new bathroom and pretty decor hid old dangerous gas appliances and TVs that were useless. No wifi caused 2 days missed work. We will not be rebooking. Should you wish to see photographs prior to my cleaning I will welcome the opportunity to send them. For a disabled mother this was horrific start to finish. We stayed only because the heatwave caused every other property to be booked out.
