We spent 5 nights in Castlehill, and we're very glad we did. The location of this property is exceptional; a stone throw away from all major amenities, but at the same time situated in a very quiet area. It is also great if you want to use it as a base in order to drive around this part of Scotland.
The property was spotless, very clean and welcoming. Julie is a great host. Communication was great from the moment we booked to even after we left. We will make sure to visit again in the future.

Attention to detail in property impeccable..phone chargers to fit all phones by the bed..welcome pack fantastic.
Julie the host and lily the spaniel were very welcoming and informative.

Everything, excellent secluded location with great contryside views, beautifully styled renovation. Spotlessly clean spacious and comfortable with everything you will need for your stay. On business for only two days. Perfect. Thank you so much.

ā¢ Location (in the countryside with great views but still only a short distance to the city centre)
ā¢ Decor (felt very homely and modern)
ā¢ Well stocked fridge (bottled water/milk/orange juice/butter/jam)
ā¢ Complimentary Prosecco and snacks (shortbread/chocolates/wafers)
ā¢ Cleanliness
ā¢ Comfy couch
ā¢ Covered car port
ā¢ Friendly host
ā¢ Unsettling gaps in the floor directly next to the bed (seemed like a bit of a hazard)
ā¢ Uncomfortably warm upstairs (even with the window open and fan on)
ā¢ Bed (the mattress was super orthopaedic and may as well have been made out of concrete - we ended up having to sleep on the couch as our bodies were physically in too much pain)
ā¢ TV in living room (was small for the space and too far away from the couch)
ā¢ Lack of curtains (due to this, as soon as there was a hint of daylight - the whole apartment was very bright)
ā¢ Host (although friendly, we personally found her to be a bit much and believe other than meeting on arrival, we shouldāve had no other communication unless absolutely necessary)
