Clean, Tidy, Well Equipped House in a convenient location.

The house was clean, tidy, very well equipped and perfectly located for what we needed (a theatre trip to Liverpool). The nearby beach to walk the dogs was excellent, and the local town centre had so many food options.

Although not an issue for us, the on street parking could get a bit tight, you have to be able to parallel park.

A great weekend break stay.

The location was ideal, the house was well appointed and was good for us. It was warm , comfy and clean. The dining kitchen was a good size for meal times.

Parking wasnt always available but we managed over the weekend to find a spot.

Lovely property near Crosby and wonderful hosts

It was very clean with everything needed for a two day stay - washing facilities, towels, kitchen. The hosts were brilliant.

There was a slight issue with drainage smell, but the hosts let us know immediately as they weren’t able to resolve the issue prior to our stay due to festive period

Perfect

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, convenient, this house had everything we needed for our whole stay. I would definitely stay again if coming back to this area. The best place I've booked on this site.

A tiny negative, certainly did not impact our enjoyment, but it took us a while to work out how to work the oven, perhaps some instructions could be included please. The back bedroom does get some train noise, so bring earplugs if this is likely to bother you.

⭐ Lovely, convenient, and comfortable stay

A charming little home in a peaceful neighborhood, just a short walk from public transport, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It’s about 20 minutes from the city center. The bathroom was spotless and bright. Parking was easy — even when we arrived late at night, we found a space on the next street. The heating worked perfectly, and communication with the host was quick and effortless. The instructions sent the day before our arrival were clear and detailed. Four of us stayed comfortably and were very happy with our choice. Just a small note: the stairs leading to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow, so older guests might find it a bit challenging to carry luggage upstairs. Also, the lower door lock was a bit tricky at first, but once we lifted the key slightly while turning, it opened easily. Highly recommended overall!

Fantastic stay

Loved the surrounding area, close to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, pubs and train station. House was very clean, spacious, comfortable and kitchen was well equipped.Also toiletries and towels provided. Parking was easy in the street outside the house. Able to sit in the sunny garden with the chairs provided while I used the washing machine. Able to acquire key from key safe. Got all the information needed ie wifi boiler contact number from host

FABULOUS!

Anne VERY kindly left some food in the fridge for me after she learnt that I was arriving late with three hungry teenagers - this was a lovely surprise and testament to the responsiveness and care we have experienced when staying at this property (this visit was our second).

Double beds were a little on the narrow and soft side for our liking, but this is just a matter of taste.....

Not a single thing out of place, super clean and everything you could possibly need. Beds were also super comfortable. Decor was lovely. Games for the children and smart tv. Everything you could need! Easy instructions sent to follow upon arrival! Everything went to plan as very well organised.

Great house to rent

Great, spacious, airy, bright and comfortable house on a residential street just minutes' walk from Waterloo high street and the train station with fast trains to Liverpool city centre. Fully-equipped kitchen. Lovely, sunny back yard. Spacious downstairs with large dining table and cool and comfortable front lounge to relax. Upstairs, small but adequate bathroom, and two good-sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. Very clean throughout. The perfect location for us to to explore Liverpool city centre, or take the train or drive up the coast to the magnificent wild beaches around Formby and Ainsdale-on-Sea. Good choice of restaurants and pubs within walking distance from the house. Friendly locals.

Difficult parking at times in residential street. Shower pressure could be improved. But these are minor points and nothing spoiled our trip and I would highly recommend the house to other guests.

The owners were very helpful in advance of the booking and made it possible to bring an additional grandchild with us at quite late notice. They always responded very quickly and pleasantly and made us feel very welcome.

It's a lovely house, really clean, and in a fantastic position close to a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. The beach is a short walk away and well worth it to, it's an amazing beach. Check in was very simple and the owners communication is really good.
