Highly recommended if you have a car. Fabulous host and all facilities excellent!

Peaceful location well located to ferry and also to explore Sleat Peninsula and slightly less touristy spots. Spotless apartment with super well equipped kitchen excellent for self catering. Nigel the host could not have been more helpful - thank you so much. And access to washing machine and dryer was a huge bonus!

Wonderful stay with a great host

We had a lovely first-time experience staying in a caravan on the Isle of Skye. The caravan was spacious, well-built, and had everything we needed – a comfortable bed, a kitchen with dining area, heating, hot water, and a convenient separate toilet and shower. Nigel was an excellent host – very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We really enjoyed our time here.

The view was exceptional, area was very quiet and peaceful. Caravan was very clean and cosy. Everything you needed was there, Nigel was very friendly and nothing was a bother to him.

There was no part of the property I disliked. I enjoyed my stay very much.

You'll fall for this place on the Isle of Skye

We loved everything about this place. It couldn't have been more perfect for us. Consider it glamping in an incredibly beautiful spot on an incredibly amazing island. Easy to find, super quiet, close to food & petrol and near enough to attractions that we could pack in a couple every day & return to make dinner. Bathrooms & utility sink were an unexpected bonus. Despite a bit of rain we were warm & cozy. Nigel, our host, was welcoming & accommodating.

Very peaceful location on a croft with great views. Nigel is a friendly and helpful host. Caravan well equipped and very comfortable. Separate toilet and shower facilities are a great idea as much more spacious than caravan version!

It's a great location, with lots of climbing, walking cycling possibilities.

There's probably a good reason why the local prices for food and drink are soo high, it puts you off going to local pubs and restaurants, consider bringing with you your food and drink essentials from your own local supermarkets.

Dreamy tranquil hideaway on Skye

Lovely quiet spot with good transport links to the rest of the island. Well sign-posted though I can imagine some potential difficulties getting up the ascend to the property in winter if you don’t have good tyres/snow boots/FWD. Spotlessly clean and great facilities, with two bathrooms which is a huge plus. Has everything one would need for a mid-long period stay too, and lots of indoor entertainment options. The welcome scones & Prosecco was such a lovely touch! It certainly helped us with settling in on an otherwise rather wet and dreary couple of days on the island (admittedly Skye is always stunning even on rainy days!) The host is ever so attentive and accommodating - we will be sure to return (availability allows!)

Internet was a tad on the slow side - not a problem for us but if someone relies on that heavily might be a factor to consider.

James Bond lässt grüßen, schöner wohnen auf sehr hohem Niveau!

Also was man vorweg sagen muss ist, dass die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft ausergewöhnlich war, fast möchte man sagen unberührt. Es war alles da was man braucht, die Einweisung und INformationen zu Beginn waren umfangreich und sehr informativ und die Lage stellte sich im Weiteren als Glücksgriff heraus. Ja das Moto lautet James Bond und das findet man in fast jedem Detail wieder. Von einer DVD Sammlung über CD´s und Brettspiele nur "M" und "Q" haben gefehlt. Und Platz war mehr als genung vorhanden für einfach alles. Eine sehr gepflegte Unterkunft die Tip Top in Schuss ist.

Kritik wäre zu dieser Unterkunft in keinem Fall angebracht, aber zwei oder drei Kleinigkeiten fehlen für eine 10 von 10. Zum einen wäre da die Abgrenzung zum Hausteil des Eigentümers. DIe Türen im Ober- und Untergeschoss lassen sich nicht vom Gästebereich aus versperren, nur von der Eigentümerseite. Das mag für viel ok sein, für manche aber nicht so. Das andere wäre das Bett, es ist super bequem aber eignet sich nur zum schlafen, Punkt. Die Heimkinoanlage im Wohnzimmer ist super genial aber man würde den Hauseigentümer und andere Gäste stören würde man Mister Bond etwas intensiver erleben wollen. Keine Kritik, aber das mit den Türschlössern wäre zu ändern. Wir kommen aber in jedem Fall sehr gerne wieder!

Természetközeli, csendes környék. A lakókocsi, amennyire egy lakókocsi kényelmes lehet, kényelmes volt. Kedves, segítőkész házigazda.

A zuhany egy külön épületben volt, de ez nem volt túl nagy probléma. WC, mosogató, kézmosó van a lakókocsiban.

Mooi, compleet ingericht huis, perfect bij slecht weer.

De ligging in Drumfearn is prachtig en was zeer gunstig om Sky te verkennen. Host erg vriendelijk. Zeer compleet ingericht, zelfs badjassen op de badkamer. Leuk met James Bond thema.

Geen uitzicht vanuit de accommodatie, de ligging is achter het woonhuis van de host. Alleen uitzicht op de eigen parkeerplaats. Om buiten te zitten bij mooi weer is er een picknicktafel, maar geen tuinstoelen. Het slaapkamerraam zou een hor kunnen gebruiken, want vanwege de vele mugjes kun je het niet openen. Het bed piept en kraakt en is denk ik aan vervanging toe.

Nigel ist ein sehr warmherziger Gastgeber und immer darauf bedacht, dass sich seine Gäste wohl fühlen. Unser Caravan war richtig gemütlich, sehr gut ausgestattet und der Ausblick toll. Wer eine ruhige und friedliche Umgebung sucht, ist hier richtig. Ein geräumiges Bad ist direkt nebenan in einem kleinen Häuschen und bietet somit extra Komfort.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

Wie wurden sehr sehr sehr herzlich empfangen und in alle Abläufe und Notwendigkeiten eingewiesen. Wir haben im Caravan geschlafen, der mit allem eingerichtet war, was man so benötigt. Zum Duschen und für die Toilette steht ein Container zur Verfügung. Auch dort war alles sauber und warm. Nigel hat uns Ausflugstipps gegeben und auch gesagt, was wir vermeiden sollten. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir waren Mitte Mai dort. Leider habe ich Generationen von Midges gefüttert. Also unbedingt an Mückenzeug denken! Bei der Buchung war nicht erkennbar, dass wir nicht im Haus schlafen.
