Awesome studio!!

Kate and Michael were fabulous hosts, with a great studio!! The kitchen was stocked with cereal and milk, the bed was comfy and the shower was delightful! They had a book with local restaurants listed, as well as maps of places to see around the area! Was a wonderful stop!!

Donegal is great!

Lovely compact studio, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, nice outdoor space. The hosts, Kate and Michael, were fabulous! So helpful and friendly. I was traveling without a car, and several times they gave me a lift into town.

It was a bit of a hike into town, but most of the time not a problem. K. and M. helped a lot.

The best value for money accommodation we’ve stayed in.

Location was perfect and the studio was very homely. Everything was thought of leaving us wanting nothing, 15 minute walk in to town and Kate and Michael were lovely. We would return tomorrow if we could.

Great stay in beautiful Donegal

We loved our stay at Kate's place. There was a lovely river walk that took us to town ( 25 mins). Kate kindly did laundry for us as we had been on the road for a week. She delivered it to us the next day dry, folded and ironed! Amazing! The bed was SO comfy also. We had the best sleep every night. The Kitchen had everything we needed. Very kind and helpful hosts. Loved our stay.

A Jewel in a Crown. Kates little Gem

Excellent place to stay, just of the Main road but very quiet and private. Kate and Mike were great hosts and told us all about Donegal and places to visit and Eat. Would recommend this property to anyone. Facilities were great and some personal touches with Biscuits and Chocolates. Very good value for money. Will return, Thank you Mike and Kate.Nothing

Nicely equipped apartment with sweet host

Very well laid out in compacted space with kitchen, refrigerator and all needed cooking equipments. The house is in a cul de sac so it’s also very quiet. It’s a few minutes drive or 15-20 minute walk on sidewalks to town. Kate lives next door is available to assist via app or in person. She is very personable and thoughtful.

The help of the owners was fantastic. They did everything to make my stay easier especially as I don't have a car. they helped with driving to the towncentre to do my groceries and arranging a taxi. The accomodation is in a quiet area. Though there is not much space the studio including kitchen is very complete. For a short stay this studio is very nice.

1) I figured out at home what would be the best solution for sightseeing and travelling. On one hand it was kind that Kate helped me to see if there was a better solution, but I felt like I really had to defend my choices. she was pushing her opinion too much. 2) No place to stay for a very long time. Than the studio is a bit small for drying wet clothing and a small area to shower.

Great weekend @ Kates place - Studio 1

Fantastic property, very clean, great location & facilities. Close to Donegal town, great Cab service very near by. Exceptional hosts, very welcoming, met both Kate & Michael when I arrived. Welcome pack provided, tea, coffee, milk, water & additional extras of Orange Juice & biscuits. Comfortable bed, cosy and warm room. I hope to get back here again. A great base for travelling to other parts of the county.

I very much liked the very quite location, and the close proximity to the town of Donegal. The owner Kate and her husband were friendly and welcoming, and I wll definately return.

Heel fijne plek

De locatie is uitstekend en hostes zijn erg gastvrij. De kamer is wat klein, maar gezellig ingericht. Een prettige sfeer. Als we in de buurt komen gaan we beslist weer.

Op basis van de foto's had ik iets meer verwacht van het buiten, maar dat heeft zich prima opgelost. Het zitje stond op de oprit ipv de tuin

Klein maar fijn verblijf.

De accommodatie is sfeervol ingericht en ligt op een rustige locatie met een klein terras naast/voor het huis. Alles is keurig netjes en schoon. Kate en haar man zijn hartelijke mensen. Het bed ligt prima, en de keuken is goed uitgerust met zelfs 4 pitten. Er staan 2 fijne stoelen om even lekker te kunnen zitten, naar 2 barkrukken aan de eethoek.

Het is erg klein als geheel en ook smal bed en hele kleine douche/wc. Juist ook omdat het keukenblok veel ruimte inneemt en er ook nog 2 stoelen staan. Wat op zichzelf wel fijn was. Voor 1 of 2 nachten prima, zeker als het goed weer is.
