Awesome Donegal Digs

Great location. Convenient to Donegal, Killybegs, Slieve League. Our hosts Kate and Michael were super friendly and generous with their time and advice. They even accommodated our needing to return 4 hours later to retrieve items left behind. Kate even took us to town and gave us a quick tour so we'd be familiar with the area. ( This was not a paid tour, but a kindness that Kate was able to afford us that day)

No negative info to report. We'd go back tomorrow.

Nice clean, cosy room. Hosts were very kind and gracious. It’s a little out of town but Michael kindly dropped us down to the main square both nights that we stayed. There were plenty of taxis in town to get us home😊

Very nice stay

Well placed for Donegal town, a short car ride to the large pay and display carpark in the centre of town. The room was very clean and well appointed.

The bed was a little hard for me as I have a bad back but that is a me problem and not the fault of the host.

Wonderful place to stay

Excellent studio apartment - great use of space. Facilities were perfect - fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, hairdryer. Everything we needed and more! Was not expecting mini cereals, milk, orange juice, butter, jam and cookies so those were a huge bonus. 15/20 minute walk into Donegal on a lit pavement. Couldn't have been better. Kate and Michael were very welcoming and lovely people. Can't reccomend the place highly enough. Would most definitely go back. Thank you Kate and Michael for providing such a great place to stay.

Although small it had everything you need for a stop over or a couple of nights if you could get it. We were greeted by Kate a lovely host. Spoilt with some lovely biscuits, and breakfast supplies.

Kate’s Place is absolutely perfect!

Kate’s Place is perfectly located, a short walk into the town centre where you can visit a whole host of local pubs, cafes and shops. Kate & Michael were really hospitable, they couldn’t do enough for us to make sure our stay was as easy as possible.

Great spot just 1.5km outside of Donegal.

Great location, quiet, comfortable bed. Our hosts were lovely Irish people, only too happy to help when needed.

It was a great little accommodation but just a touch small with two adults with large suitcases and loads of other little bags (2 month road trip). That is our fault not the accommodation we still loved our stay.

Perfect apartment - lovely hosts!

Our stay in Donegal couldn’t have been better! The room was spotlessly clean, fully equipped, and very comfortable. The location is perfect - just a short walk from the city center. Kate is so friendly and helpful. She has the room perfectly set up- lovely little extras provided including tea/ coffee/ butter/biscuits /bottle of milk and juice. Very comfortable bed with such freshly scented bed linen. Beautifully decorated and cosy. Spotlessly clean throughout. Lovely bathroom, also immaculate and there is separate shampoo/ conditioner/body wash in the shower. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for Donegal town

The lovely owners Kate & Michael met me on arrival & explained the layout. The unit has everything (kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, crockery / cutlery) that you might want for a night or two. Close to town but far enough away from the main road to be really quiet.

We just chilled for the day, we were going to go out but then decided not too as we were getting up early the next morni

Everything was great, Kate greeted us at the door once we pulled in and took us on in, she had recommendations on where to go eat and what pubs were good, she had taxi numbers in the room for us too if we needed. The bed was very comfortable and everything was great. There was even wee bottles of water etc. in the fridge and cookies and other treats for you to use aswell. Everything was amazing.

Great accommodation for a few days in Dongeal

The accommodation was spotless and really nicely furnished with everything we needed. Even had a coffee machine with lots of pods, fresh milk, orange juice, cookies. The hosts Kate and Michael were really helpful with lots of info about food, pubs, and things to do. There is wifi and a tv. The location is perfect for being a tourist around Donegal county but we had a car so not sure how it would be without one. One thing I would recommend to any future guests is to bring an eye mask. I always take one on trips and the curtains were a little light so in the mornings this might wake some people up.

Quiet place, 5 minutes by car far from Donegal centre. We stayed in "Studio 2" room and it was so nice and comfortable. Clean and with even a small part equipped to kitchen with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Easy parking inside the facility. The owner, Kate and Michael, so lovely and friendly. No doubt our best stay in Ireland.

Lovely little Studio a 20 minute walk from town centre.

Kate and her husband greeted me on arrival and instantly made me feel at home. The studio is ideal for a single traveller or a couple and is beautifully decorated. There were lovely touches such as orange juice, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk provided.
