The charming village of Bouilland is crossed by the Rhoin, a capricious stream and a trout paradise, which feeds the old washhouse (1860). You’ll be at the foot of cliffs offering 375 climbing routes rated from 3a to 8c+. The site is designated as a Natura 2000 area, and the village is often referred to as “Burgundian Switzerland.” Come explore the many hiking trails, discover the Roche Percée, the ruins of Sainte Marguerite Abbey, or simply enjoy the municipal recreation area (playground, tennis courts, soccer field, and pétanque courts). The unspoiled natural setting where Bouilland is nestled is also the ideal starting point for all your excursions. You can explore (less than 9 km away) the Route des Grands Crus and its renowned wine estates, visit the Abbey of Cîteaux, Le Clos Vougeot, and the locks of the Burgundy Canal…

Great location in a lovely village with friendly neighbours. Surrounding area stunning, close to Savigny and Beaune. Property owner was amazing, very helpful, friendly, great to talk to and nothing was too much trouble. We will return to Les Pommiers.

Bouilland is a charming village close to wineyards, forests, lacs, castles, old villages and rivers.
There at lots to do for all ages and interests and the host is extremely available and reactive to provide great tips.
The house is a little old but with charm like many in the area, full of games for the kids.

We knew the Beaune area, but Bouilland -- a small town in a valley surrounded by rocks -- is different and exciting in its own way. We hiked and biked.
