Great family home with all the mod cons

A fantastic home at an equally fantastic location. The property was immaculately clean and wonderfully fitted with modern climate control and every gadget under the sun. Décor was also a charmingly cheeky low-key kitsch take on pop culture with nice, framed artwork from Bowie to Bacon to Babycham. We had a great time just relaxing there between trips out, frequently putting on music, and my daughter greatly enjoyed creating a “disco” with the LED lights in the living room. The arcade machine was similarly a nice touch, although I regret to inform you that you won’t be able to beat my Pac-Man high score. A stone’s throw from Tolcarne beach, and a short stroll to pretty much any other major attraction in Newquay made this a great place to be staying at to see the area. There’s something to be said for walking off the beach to a hot shower in under 10 minutes. There's also private parking and even a bus stop at the end of the road for travelling further afield. The hosts were great, and Sarah graciously posted my door keys back to me when I realised I’d gone home without them.

Maybe a little expensive, but then that’s more on us as it was a large property clearly designed for bigger families. We took a punt as it was late on so many properties were already booked, and we didn’t regret it. The duvets were a little heavy for summer.

Loved our stay

We loved the location, an easy 10 minute walk to the bars and shops in one direction and the beautiful lusty glaze beach in the other direction. There is also a Tesco extra a 2 minute walk away. The property is beautiful and spacious for a family with a well appointed kitchen. The football table and pac man machine made our stay even more fun. The additional touches of a bottle of prosecco, jelly beans and lollipops were also appreciated. After we arrived Sarah our host was in contact to check everything was to our liking and we wouldn't hesitate to book again when we return to Newquay.
