L’hôte est très réactif et l’emplacement super parmi les oliviers. Le frigo était plein avec les œufs frais du propriétaire. Tout est très propre et équipé.

This is a wonderful little hermitage in the hills. The hosts prepared the small house with such love, thinking of everything one might need. Even coffee and creamer and fresh eggs in the fridge as well as a prepared stack of wood in the fire place, ready to light for the cooler nights. There an excellent oven to cook and bake in and a new single flame gas stove. Both work very well. The bathroom is separate and small but very clean and functional. Hot water comes on quickly. It’s lovely to sit on the terrace by candle light. The stars are incredible due to the isolation of the house. It’s very silent too, you might hear a distant flock of sheep or a dog barking but not much more. The location is perfect to explore the area either by foot or by car. Walking is preferable given the difficult roads. All in all, I fell in love with this place. It allows you to truly immerse yourself in a very natural environment with all its sounds, sights, and smells.

I would have stayed another week if I had a 4-wheel drive car. The dirt roads are problematic for a low clearance car like mine. I had to go extremely slow to not risk a flat tire. Be prepared for quite a few stretches of rocky unpaved roads. I found the place a bit overdecorated and some of the decorations were fire hazards, like fiber bowls and dry plants around the fireplace. But those can easily be removed and of course decorations are always a subjective matter of taste :)
