We stayed 5 nights in Istron blue, and it was simply unforgettable. Both Voulisma Beach (yes, the famous one!) and Agiou Panteleimonos Beach (our personal favorite) are just about a 10-minute walk away, and supermarkets and restaurants are also easy to reach on foot.
Our apartment had 3 bedrooms and 3 balconies, more than spacious for our family of five. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the pool was small but cute.
The welcome gifts — house wine, sweets, fruit (the pomegranates were the sweetest we’ve ever had!), and homemade biscuits — were such a warm touch. We loved one of the sweets so much that we even asked the host (🫣) where to buy them, and they kindly gave us more!
The balcony view was amazing, perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine overlooking the sea. The bathroom was large, with a washing machine and plenty of amenities.
Yes, the furniture is a bit old-fashioned, but honestly, that added to its charm. The host was incredibly friendly, and so was the cat, which our kids adored. They were truly sad to leave — such wonderful memories!

My daughter loved the pool.
Beds made up whist we were out with sweets left on the pillows
Local beaches are fantastic along with the tavernas
The microwave could have been cleaned. A liitle traffic noise from the main road.

The property is near the beaches and tavernas. I stayed in an apartment with kitchen and two balconies. Everything was more than enough for me. The owners are the best I ever met.

The little gifts of cake, home made wine were appreciated and I was surprised that it was 'serviced ' every day.
I'd asked for an apartment up stairs and I was on the ground floor. The place needs upgrading and redesigning. The kitchen facilities were very cramped and dark. The microwave which had obviously been installed recently was 30cm off the floor and the fridge prevented you from getting at it. There is a corridor which is wasted space
