Salty Villa

Beautiful villa in an amazing location. All aspects of the villa are appealing, comfortable and relaxing.

The curtains needed cleaning.

It was a great location & very relaxing. Pool had perfect amount of sun

Hot water wasn’t great, especially upstairs shower & no bottled water for teeth brushing

The pool was great. The rooms are clean and aircon works really well. There is a lot of space which is lovely. The location is quiet. The kitchen is pretty well stocked (not that we cooked anything). There is filtered water. Bathrooms are nice and big. The washing machine and clothes rack were appreciated. Daily housekeeping was nice too!

Mosquitoes - despite the many solutions provided by the host (spray, coils, electric zapper) they remained an issue. We had older kids so the stairs upstairs werent an issue (we just never went up there) but could be an issue for younger kids. Also no pool fence might be an issue for younger kids. The lounge, dining kitchen are outdoor (undercover) so the fans were great but obviously no aircon in these areas. Being a bit exposed to outside weather means things like the fridge are showing wear and tear. The location can be hard for taxis to find and also some taxis are too big for the narrow streets getting there so we had to get out and walk the last 5 minutes.

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect. The villa is very well laid out and has everything you need. Staff were fabulous and very responsive.

Some finishes were slightly worn but it didn’t matter at all.
