This is our second stay at Villa Air. The property is beautiful and the staff really extend true hospitality. The only negatives would be the heavy smell of the mosquito coils smoke and the bath shower setup isn't very practical, you end up wetting everywhere.

The hotel itself is nice but unfortunately I had an unpleasant stay! First is the tiles they used within the villa, in lounge, kitchen and bathroom, very slippery. Second is the bathroom, when take shower the water splash out and runs from the side down to the floor creates a pond, damped the floor towel, uncomfortable and dangerous. I informed the staff on the risk of injuries and asked if they can do something to reduce the risk but nothing can be done, and unfortunately my wife slipped and injured! Staff were called but didn’t show much care on my wife’s injury and denied it was the hotel liability. I was shocked and disappointed how they reacted. This was the worst experience on hotel service I ever had, very disappointed!

Overall the property is quite nice, however, I would not have it as a five star hotel. The area of Seminyak is not the best place to be in Bali and the hotel is a good bit away from where you want to be and all of the roads have no footpaths and is pretty crazy to walk along. Pros: - Villa is lovely with big outdoor space and private pool. - Staff are nice but lack common awareness for guest experience. Cons: - Found mouse droppings all over the Villa. - Area is awkward to walk anywhere to and requires taxi (they offer a shuttle within seninyak but are largely too busy to drop you or can only take you 5 mins down the road). - Food was not great in the restaurant and very much dead. - Went to watch the music in the restaurant on the Sunday (supposed to be playing from 6 - 9) but the musician was gone for a 45 min break (during a 3 hour set) and didn’t get to see him. - Spa is way overpriced in comparison to local spas. - Only had breakfast once during 3 night stay as they don’t serve before 7. They charge 180k for the floating tray. I was hoping to get this waived as I only breakfast once but they were unwilling to do so.

From the time you arrive to the time you leave the staff are uber attentive. The villas are spacious, clean and the outdoor kitchen lounge and pool are an added bonus. The food served is also great.

Hotel staff very accommodating and helpful. They respond quickly to requests. Breakfast was good too. The villa was well kept and maintained. They knew I had 2 kids and prepared kid toothbrushes and toothpaste for them. Thats very thoughtful of them. Also included a float for the pool!!

All was well except one hitch air conditioning in the bedroom was hitting the head therefore we needed to turn it off - specific villa 17 I hope it can be corrected .

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days. The only drawback of this place is that you won't feel like leaving from there. The services provided are so far the best we got compared to the other 5 star hotels. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Lovely peaceful villa with private pool. Comfortable beds and a lot of day beds around the villa for lounging. Staff attentive and friendly at all times. Main entertainment unit is outside so a bit difficult to hear/watch with outside light and environment. Many breakfast options but quality is so-so. Convenient transport into Seminyak. Villas geared towards Japanese tourists.

The service and food here were excellent but the accommodation was disappointing. The bedroom in our villa was small and dingy with very little wardrobe space and an air con unit that could not keep it cool. it had poorly fitting sliding doors to an open air bathroom with outside shower. The pool was dirty with vegetation and the wifi not working. They were quick to sort this out for us but the wifi is very slow and restricted to a single user. Having come from a delightful villa in Jimbaran we were also disappointed by the absence of any iPod connection. The rainy season was a it's peak with storms overnight and so water poured into the open air areas frequently. On very shiny marble floors my partner had a very bad fall one evening. This accentuated the lack of a single comfortable chair in the villa. If you are a sun worshipper the only place to sunbathe was in the pool everywhere else was in shade. The place could be delightful and is in process of refurbishment but that did not help us. We had chosen this accommodation after a busy sight-seeing period while staying in Jimbaran. We wanted to just chill with our own pool, our music and some sun bathing. If that's your plan - this is not the place for you!

My first impression when I walked through the door was "Wow!" The villa was even better that the photos. My partner and I didn't want to leave. It was a peaceful escape from the madness of the busy streets. I would highly recommend this boutique style of accommodation over the commercial big name resorts if you're looking to get some zen.

We decided to choose this hotel by ourselves in the last minute due to some problem with our travel agent. However, it turned out to be a pleasant choice for us. We stayed in a one bedroom villa with a private pool. The hotel was peacefully beautiful, the staff were nice and polite ( I wish they could help me more with information on dinning, activity, or good travelling spot, though), and breakfast was great with 4 choices. We got a chance to try the spa there and was ok with it, We think spa was one of the think they could improve. The location was not so bad, they provided bicyble therefore we could explore the neighbourhood and visited the beach within 15 minutes. We were happy with the hotel and will recommend our friends to stay there.

We recently spent 3 nights at Villa Air Bali on our honeymoon and found it the absolute perfect way to start it off. Everything about the hotel was great. It quite possibly was the nicest hotel experience weve ever had. Come here if you want to relax for a few days.

Villa Air Bali came highly recommended to me by my hairdresser, I now will recommend them to anyone and everyone I meet going to Seminyak. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they would bend over backwards to improve our stay in any way. Our room was amazing!! However this was mainly due to a booking mix up that left us staying in their 4 bedroom ultra-deluxe villa. After a week sharing a room with a friend we realised we'd hit the jackpot scoring this huge villa. We basically didn't leave it, it was so great. The villas are located a short distance from Oberoi st, but there is a free shuttle, or taxis cost only about $(Au)1.50 to the main street or the beach. The spa services at the Villa Air are superb too.
