Due to recent increases in water levels some boat ramps have been opened on Canyon Lake. Boat ramps #1 and #2 are open for free, public use. Boat ramps #14, #17, #18 and #19 are also open but do charge a fee for entry. For the most up to date water levels and ramp openings please visit the mycanyonlake website.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

I had an incredible stay at this charming one-bedroom apartment. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless—check-in was smooth, and the location was easy to access, tucked away just enough to feel secluded but still close to town conveniences.The apartment itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was a standout: modern appliances, plenty of counter space, and everything I needed to cook comfortably. Whether whipping up breakfast or grilling outside, it was a dream setup.Speaking of grilling—the outdoor space was a highlight. Just beyond the sliding glass doors was a serene patio with a BBQ pit, just outside the front door was the pool, perfect for relaxing evenings. I was lucky enough to catch some breathtaking sunsets right from the patio, often accompanied by deer wandering nearby. The abundance of wildlife made for some fantastic photo opportunities—hawks, rabbits, and even a curious fox one morning!Each morning, I enjoyed peaceful walks around the area. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with scenic paths that made it easy to start the day with fresh air and movement. It truly felt like a nature-lover’s paradise.Overall, this VRBO was the perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and natural beauty. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with all the right amenities.

The landscape is so beautiful. The condo is nice with wonderful Texas theme...i appreciated it! The location is great bc it's far away enough from Austin to be in the country but an easy drive to San Marcos or Austin. For those who tube, the chilly Guadeloupe is right there and San Marcos River is a short and pretty drive. And Canyon Lake is ideal for any boating or recreational activities My first time to this hidden gem...cannot wait to return.

I recently stayed at this rental property, attracted by its beautiful location and promise of tranquility. However, my experience was mixed, to say the least.
On the positive side, the check-in process was super easy, and the area was indeed serene. However, there were several significant drawbacks that tainted my stay.
Firstly, I was surprised to find that access was restricted to only one room. This limitation was not mentioned anywhere in the listing that it was a 3 bedroom and it contributed to a strange atmosphere within the condo.
Additionally, cleanliness was a major issue. The sheets were not clean upon arrival, as evidenced by finding a quarter and a bobby pin among them. The carpet in the living room was visibly dirty, likely due to debris from the popcorn ceiling. The kitchen, while tidy, had plates and glasses that appeared and felt unclean. The bathroom and shower also left much to be desired, lacking the thorough scrub they needed. Furthermore, the hand soap provided felt dirty, seemingly a mixture of two different soaps in one bottle.
Given these cleanliness issues, I request a refund of the cleaning fee. It is unacceptable to charge for a service that was clearly not adequately provided.
Overall, while the location had its charms, the lack of cleanliness and unexpected limitations on condo access detracted significantly from the experience. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to ensure a more pleasant stay for future guests.
