Lakefront Home/Large Dock/Swim Friendly Cove/Minutes to downtown Gainesville!

This home is perfect for family gatherings or romantic getaways. The main level boasts an open floor plan with huge vaulted ceilings and lots of hardwood. Bedding accommodations include five queen beds, all with upgraded sheets and bedding, plus an additional pull out sofa bed. The fully equipped kitchen opens to a formal dining room and great room with large flat screen tv. The oversized deck off the main level includes gas grill, fire pit table, and patio set with umbrella. There is a laundry room on the main with full size washer/dryer. There are two full baths on the main with oversized shower and antique clawfoot soaking tub in the master.

Downstairs contains a second family/gathering room complete with pool table and flat screen tv. A full bath and second kitchen/bar area also exists downstairs. The large bedroom downstairs has two queen beds. Double french doors lead from the family room to an outside patio complete with ping pong table and other games to entertain.

The gentle path to the lake is well lit and leads to a large 32' x 32' private double slip dock with party deck; the largest allowed on the lake. The dock sits in deep water and has never been dry, even during the drought years which we are trying to forget around here... I do keep my boat in one slip however the other slip is available for yours as is additional docking space along each side. Vertical rub rails/bumpers (very important) are in place along each side of the dock and slip to protect your boat. The dock is fully lit for night time fishing.

Parents relax as the private cove is well suited for swimming or fishing without worry of heavy boat traffic. There is none of the annoying constant up and down dock movement present in more populated areas of the lake. This is a very peaceful and clean section of the lake with hidden ski coves (just ask) and fish galore. Check out the fish condos under the dock (you fishermen know what I mean...).

After a day on the lake relax to a game of pool, ping pong, checkers, or numerous other board games and puzzles. Enjoy a gourmet meal prepared in the inviting kitchen (all utensils and appliances needed are included along with charcoal and gas grills) or at one of the fine local restaurants only a few miles away in downtown Gainesville. Several North Ga wineries are within a 45 minute drive also. Just remember, relax, you're on vacation!
