About this house rental
"Sweet Tea on the Dock" offers the ultimate getaway. Our 7,000 sf luxury lakefront home offers 6 private sleeping rooms with king/queen beds and multiple indoor and outdoor living areas to comfortably fit your entire group! It sits on 2 acres of beautiful landscaping and gives complete privacy while offering access to everything you need.Spend your days on the expansive deck or dock, swimming or boating, fishing, kayaking, and creating lifelong memories together. Kayaks, paddle board and more included for free. Located just minutes away from great restaurants, shopping, hiking and more, Sweet Tea has it all!
The minimum night requirement ranges from two nights to five nights, depending on the season, and our seasonal pricing varies. Our minimum booking age is 30. When making a booking request or inquiring, please include the following information:
• Your age, and the general age ranges of adults & children in your group.
• The maximum number of adults and kids that you will have (even if you don't yet have final numbers).
• Please note that day guests are not allowed at the house.

HOUSE DETAILS:
• Well equipped for groups of adults and children.
• 5.5 total bathrooms.
• 7,000 sf
• Huge dual-level dock with free Kayaks, paddle board, and more.
• Massive deck with covered area. It feels like being in a huge treehouse!
• Multiple inside gathering areas where your group can all be together or separate for different activities.
• Beautiful landscaped yard with many imported plantings.
• Downstairs activity area for foosball, ping pong, pool table, games, TV, and comfortable seating.
• Spacious covered exterior areas with plenty of seating.
• TVs in all living areas.
This home is located north of Atlanta on the north side of Lake Lanier in Gainesville with direct access to the lake.
LOCATION:
• This house was chosen for its location to everything!
• We are minutes away from lakeside parks, hiking, shopping, restaurants and more.
• We are approx. 30 minutes to Lake Lanier Islands Resort and Margaritaville waterpark.
• We are 30 minutes to the N. Georgia Mountains.
• We are 1.5 hours from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (normal traffic times).
This home is ideal for families, multi-family gatherings, corporate retreats and group gatherings. If you are looking for an incredible Georgia lodging experience, you’ve just found it. Come be our guest!
House parties and having day guests are strictly prohibited, and are grounds for immediate eviction and additional fees. Day guests are any guests beyond those paying to spend the night.

Was a great house for the groomsmen’s home base during our wedding weekend! Wonderful host, so many fun things to do, and plenty of space for whatever you need! We highly recommend staying here :)

We truly enjoyed our Thanksgiving at Sweet Tea on the Lake. The game room was a hit for all of us. It was a pretty cold weekend, so we didn't get to enjoy the lake toys. Overall, it was a great place to relax and spend quality family time.

We had a really nice family reunion to celebrate my father’s 90th birthday. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their favorite activities. We’re all sort of “sit, visit, eat and repeat” types so there was plenty of that while we watched a white squirrel from the deck! There were 4 scientists in our group so the surrounding nature was a big hit. Nice memories were made!

This home was large and had plenty of room to spread out. The view was beautiful. The hosts did allow us to check in early based on our timing with our son’s wedding events.
None of the tvs would connect to the internet. So we were unable to watch football on Saturday afternoon with our entire family there. Which was one of our reasons we rented this home. We communicated with the host/owner several times about the problem and she was quick to respond with instructions. Her suggestions ultimately didn’t solve our problems and we had no TV all weekend.
The home is in need of updates and minor cosmetic repairs. The master water closet smelled of urine.
When checking out there are a LOT of instructions on how to leave the house. (Not just starting the dishwasher and taking out the trash) It took us an extra hour to make sure that the pre cleaning was done. We paid a cleaning fee with our rental and feel that we shouldn’t have to pre clean to this extent.
