Great location and facilities, unusable sofa bed mattress

The apartment was in a great location for the Clifton with its numerous shops, restaurants and clubs, which is very convenient. It was well equipped with bedsheets, towels etc, the kitchen had all necessary utilities, and there was free coffee and tea available for guests to use. The instructions for accessing the flat were clear and convenient.

The 'mattress' of the sofa bed is of such low quality (paper thin and and with a massive dent in the middle where it's folded up for stowing away) that it is virtually impossible to use for sleeping on, which is a major problem if you're visiting with two or more guests and rely on using the sofa bed as a second bed. It's bad enough for me not wanting to stay at this particular apartment again (there are 3 other apartments in the building being rented out by the same provider, the quality of which I cannot speak to). The pictures of the apartment on booking.com do not show the actual apartment I was given, but another apartment in the same building, so it's not possible for prospective guests to see what you are actually renting and paying for.

Short stay

Location was excellent, the apartment was clean, furnishings slightly dated but more than adequate. The shower could have been nicer, but the water was hot and it did the job.

Both gates locks were broken, it felt a bit spooky at night walking down the alley to the main door. There was rubbish everywhere and the security light didn't cover enough of the alley. You needed a torch to avoid treading in rubbish and old takeaways.

Rubbish scattered all around the entrance front door.Shared access hall and stairs also had rubbish on the floor and are grubby. Need a sweep.

It was was ok and good location for me but I would not stay again or recommend.

It was easy to find and get in. Good facilities, TV, kitchen equipment, comfortable clean bed. Bathroom bedroom and kitchen were clean. Quiet bedroom. The two heaters worked well. Nice towels. It was near shops etc.

Only the flat door required a key code in the end. The gate and building had codes but were just open the whole time (I was in and out a few times) so it didn't feel very secure or safe. The alleyway was dark until you were halfway in and strewn with rubbish bags. The flat smelt very bad, stale smoke? The sofa was stained and not clean. The tables and bedside tables were not clean. The toilet had been left unflushed. It was part good part bad. It was expensive for the way it was. I did immediately try to inform the owners with the number given but no reply.

Comfortable apartment in Clifton close to amenities

Lovely spot in Clifton. Close to restaurants and shops. Apartment was well kitted out, clean and comfortable. The bedroom is at the back so it’s quite to sleep. Loved sitting by the big windows and people watching.

Dirty, pubic hairs in the bed and slow response to the issues

There are x3 combination locks with different codes to access the flat. Painful to remember each set of numbers. The alley way is sketchy and feels unsafe

The apartment was dirty. Kitchen utensils, fridge etc. The sofa bed was covered in pubic and head hair, the duvet was stained. Despite requesting the sofa linen, none was provided. A 3 hour delay with endless calls and emails to get this rectified. The sofa was stained and dirty, generally the apartment felt tired and neglected.

Fittings felt cheap and were cheap, shower head bracket was broken, window locks were damaged/broken, lounge area smelt slightly of cigarette smoke, entrance route to the flat was seedy through a back route with bins around

Very good

Apartment was as expected and pictured. The finish and furniture, etc, in the apartment was of good quality.. Beds were very comfortable, the location was good, plenty around locally and accessibility was easy and directions good from hosts. Responses from hosts were quick and even responded on the weekend. (Sunday even)

There was some confusion with the booking originally, but that was sorted quickly. Some additional towels, considering we had 6 people staying, were needed and lacking. Flat would benefit from a second bathroom, and there's plenty of room on the top floor to do so. Also, a very random thing to mention, but the motion sensor in the upstairs hallway was triggered by turning over in bed, which was quite annoying. (Worth mentioning none of these were a big deal and wouldn't go against staying again, but thought I'd mention.)

Clean, comfortable and excellent location.

Location was excellent, close to lots of shops and places for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Easy to find with clear directions and free parking on the road outside at weekends and between the hours of 5pm and 9am. We had 2 infants with us and lots of space for travel cots.

The light in the hallway was on a sensor, and even when you moved in bed it would detect it and turn on.

Es moderno, espacioso, luminoso y muy bien ubicado. El dormitorio no tenía ruido de la calle. La cocina muy moderna y cómoda.

Poco aislamiento entre pisos. Se escucha mucho de arriba, especialmente los sonidos de agua. Los huéspedes anteriores habían fumado (siendo no fumadores), y no estaba ventilado. La primera noche no pude dormir ahí por el fuerte olor a cigarro. Se sugiere que el baño tenga un basurero..encontré un elemento inserto en el estanque del excusado, quizás de un huésped que no supo donde tirarlo.
