Perfect Location, Excellence view, Handover was friendly, efficient and uncomplicated.

The concierge, Tom, was very obliging, meeting us at the property for check in and also accepting our luggage early while we had a look around the town. He gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and the local attractions. We absolutely loved the rooftop spa, and the accommodation was in very easy walking distance to the main attractions of the town, including the historic cathedral and lovely old town area.

The penthouse suite was very spacious and within 5min walking distance of the old town. We had a wonderful view from our terrace that was on the roof, including a hot tub that made it a special experience. The apartment had windows all around so you could see everywhere, giving a lot of light!! It was a modern design in a very old building tastefully renovated.

As it tends to be with these very modern interiors, not practical. In the bathroom, no countertops to put anything, no towel racks or pegs to hang (1 small peg) The sink very beautiful but absolutely not practical, water always splashing out on the floors when brushing teeth etc…etc… Sleeping niche upstairs, I hit my head every morning getting up, no place for your bags or clothes…etc.. Overall, nice to look at.

Really nice place ! Outstanding was the whirlpool of course. Many thanks to Tom who welcomed us and showed us the flat . Very nice guy !

The property was well-equipped, stylish and spacious. Beautiful views over Freiburg.

The air conditioning was pretty ineffective and only for the upper floor which made it difficult to sleep unless windows open which isn’t ideal in a bustling town. It was hard to carry our luggage up 6 flights of stairs.

Exceptionnally well situated rooftop duplex apartment, with free parking a few meters away. Great new terrace with last generation jacuzzi, resting area, offering an A level view direct on the roofs of the old town of Fribourg. Unique!! Awesome equipments, kitchen, TV etc. Great bed in the master bedroom. This is a high level, and tasteful renovation for a very well situated apartment. Special mention for the beautiful dining room table and its chairs, the original state of the art kitchen!

Here are the negatives, which might be solved in the future as this apartment is new to the market: - no sun protection on the terrace in case of sunny hot weather, making the terrace unusable in the day, - no closets in the bedrooms, just a hanger in the entrance hallway, one bedroom is a real one, the other just a small corner in the living room and too small for adults, - no shades in the bathrooms, although neighbourgs have a direct view on the showers, - no lift, so 3 floors up, (not bothering for us), - checkin in person, but the contact I was given, Tom Bagge was on vacation and impossible to reach on his cell on the day of our arrival (I was not informed), I had to try several numbers to get someone to finally check us in, very nice person by the way (Rodriguez, very responsive). - wi-fi was not checked at checkin and we had to contact Rodriguez, have him come back to reboot the router as it was not working, - a wine cooler is in the kitchen with several bottles of wine stocked, as well as chilled wine glasses. Great, but no mention of any price, so beware that if you drink one of its bottles you will be kindly asked to reimburse with an online link (25 euros), no drama but wished we had been informed ahead about the price. All in all, this is a great and unique apartment but the company in charge of its management will have to improve its service level, considering the night rate, in order to meet expectations.
