Amazing location. The bikes were a super nice touch!!! You are close to the Black Forest and cycling into town only takes 5 minutes. The house was lovely, we were so lucky to have all the flowers in bloom during the stay. Would really recommend!

We couldn’t imagine how the house could be as beautiful as the photos- but it was even lovelier than we expected. We felt like royalty!Plenty of room to host our local guests and an easy walk to the Stadtpark and Altstadt.Communication with our host was excellent- we hope to return one day!

I am a travel agent. I located this property for my clients who were visiting family nearby. Prior to their visit I communicated with the owner, Uta, several times. She was very helpful, she answered all of my questions, and she was very prompt with responding to all of my inquiries. When my clients returned, they raved about how beautiful the home is and showed me several pictures. They really enjoyed spending time on the back patio in the evenings. I would highly recommend this property, not only to friends, but also to fellow travel agents who are looking for a home for their clients.

Fantastic house and perfect for our week. We had 80 old grandparent so no trekking or mountain biking, but instead trips into Alsace, wine tasting (kids went to Europa Park) and fun exploring Freiburg. Communication was great, bikes available if we wanted them, could not have wished for better.

The house was beautiful, very spacious and private for our group of 9. We were also close to everything, so it was easy to walk or drive anywhere we wanted to go. We were on a multiple week trip, so it was a huge relief to be able to have access to a washer and dryer. Uta has everything very organized with plenty of information and was quick to answer any questions etc! The home has everything you would need to cook etc. It was rainy during our stay, but the outdoor area would have been great for families to eat dinner and relax.

We stayed for a week (and immediately regretted not staying for two!). The house is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. During the summer, the wealth of windows allowed for cooling cross breezes throughout the day. The air smelled like honey. The beautiful flower garden provides relaxing mornings and evenings. The beds were comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The downstairs apartment gives a second, private space if needed. The bus is at the bottom of the hill, and connects you to the city center in minutes. The owner was quick to respond to texts, and was prompt and kind with directions (especially about trash, as we were unfamiliar with local separation and recycling processes).

We had a great stay at Ute’s house. It’s a short walk to the local neighborhood restaurants and cafes and about 25 min walk to the Freiburg Cathedral. The house is very spacious and has everything you could need.

We had plenty of room for our family gathering in a very nice area of Freiburg. Uta was very helpful and responsive. Accommodation was good for all ages. Although very well equipped, the kitchen was rather small for catering for a large group. Pleasant walk into the old town and local shops good for most needs.

We had 8 adults comfortably stay in this house. The social areas are large and there are plenty of facilities to cover all our dining plans. The location allowed us to take day trips easily and was within a short distance of shops. Fantastically presented, with enough trust and freedom from the host to use as we needed. We would stay again in a heartbeat and we were all thoroughly sad our stay here came to an end.

We got married up in the Black forest and rent this VRBO out for the whole week for some of the family from the US to Stay. It was absolutely amazing. So amazing that we even had our "First look" in the Yard because it was so beautiful. Unfortunately it rain a lot during out stay and we didn't had a chance to get use to the amazing outdoor patio seating. Hopefully next time when we will be back. :)

We had a fantastic stay here. The house is beautiful, with a big sitting/dining kitchen area and multiple outdoor decks and balconies. (The downstairs area can also form a self-contained flat with its own bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and seating area. The main kitchen is very well equipped and it was lovely to sit around a meal (either at the table inside, or out on the deck) as the sun set. The location is wonderful. It's about a three minute walk down the hill to the bus stop for a five-minute bus ride into the city centre, or just a 15-20 minute walk overall. In the other direction, two minutes walk up the road brings you to the forest and a multiplicity of walking paths and trails. The road is a quiet one and there is free parking on the street as well as one dedicated off-street parking place (our party had two cars but we never had any problem finding a parking space on the street outside the house). Within five or ten minutes walk there are multiple bakeries, Gaststätten, supermarkets and a very good ice cream shop. We would be very happy to return here and hope we have the chance to do so. The price fairly reflects the location, the gardens, the comfort of the house itself, and for a larger group - there is a total of 5 double bedrooms - it works out well. Uta was a very responsive host and we really appreciated her efforts to make sure everything was just right when we arrived! Wirklich hervorragend! Danke Uta!

Lots of room to spread out and spaces to gather. Wonderful gardens surround the home and provides great opportunities for making memories. Very walkable to Freiburg. A fun bakery just down the street and easy access to highways. Parking on site. Laundry… what more can one ask? The photos do not do it justice. Thank you Uta!

Uta's home is beautiful and provided our family a wonderful experience during our recent visit just ahead of Christmas. She even decorated the house for us for the holiday season. We enjoyed the local village near the house, and her home provided a wonderful base as we enjoyed exploring Freiburg and taking several day trips in the surrounding area. After leaving, we went to Switzerland for the rest of our vacation, but our family all agreed our time in Freiburg was the highlight of our trip.

We could hike from the door, walk to town easily, the inside and outside areas both had tons of room for a large group, kitchen was super well equipped and the house and all its decor was gorgeous, warm and homely. Such a beautiful, cozy house in a charming tree-lined neighborhood of Freiburg. Even better than the photos! The neighborhood has great restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and walking trails, and the house is also conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Freiburg. This was the perfect place for us to explore the city and the Black Forest. Highly recommended!

We rented the Villa for 8 nights on july-2 families 4 adults & 6 children. The house location is excellent. Near the city center but in a very nice and quite neighborhood.The place was perfect. Very beautiful, luxurious, very clean, and fully equipped with all Necessary things for 2 families .It made our holiday very special. Mrs Von Boyen, is very honest and kind. We strongly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home in Freiburg for Christmas. We were an extended family from Australia looking to stay together in Germany, and this house was perfect for us. It was professionally managed, a beautiful place and in a wonderful location- a 20 minute walk to the city and ideal for cycling or running through the forest in the hills right behind the house. Uta was a pleasure to deal with and we left (despite the absence of snow) with a wonderful impression of the city. Would thoroughly recommend.

This house was big, clean and wonderfully furnished.It accommodated our two families easily and meant we all had a fantastic time. Having children, this was perfectly situated. If we wanted to get into town it wasn't far and if we didn't, the forest was right next to the house.Communication before, during and after our stay was excellent and made for a trouble free holiday. I would thoroughly recommend this place.
