The Italian Retreat, Little Italy

Excellent location; very comfortable; sizeable apartment; free easy-to-access parking; easy access to apartment; style and set-up of the apartment was pleasant.

We are torn because we really loved this apartment for many reasons, but there were some shortfalls. The sofa bed was not made up and no clear instructions as to where to locate bedding. Also, there were inconsistencies with the description of the apartment ie. 1. the property is not a 2 bathroom apartment. It is a 1.5 bathroom apartment. The only time I was made aware of the fact it was a 1.5 bath apartment was after I had paid. Travelling with an Adult daughter, we expected a 2nd bathroom with shower. I think that it is misleading and the Booking.com profile should immediately change accordingly. 2. The booking.com confirmation / notification also says ""excellent views of the ocean" which is not the case at all.

Location was good. In the midst of Little Italy yet quiet at night. Secured building and a short walk to the Trolley station. Located near many eateries and delis. Apartment was bright and clean. Hot shower, comfortable bed. Love the coffee station. Appreciate the reserved parking beneath the apartment. Bringing up the luggage to the apartment floor was fuss-free via elevator. Friendly and responsive communication.

Beautiful decor and lots of extras provided. Location was perfect, this area has tons of great new restaurants. And one block from farmers market.
