Excellent Lodge in a beautifully well kept site and also very clean. Plenty of easy instructions on how to use amenities in the property and great directions on how to get straight to the front door.
Lovely balcony area to sit out on and enjoy a drink and take in the lovely views of the surrounding hills etc. Everything we needed was on hand at the property and in great condition. The beds are comfortable with good bedding and everything felt very cosy. Plenty of hot water for baths and showers.
The Lodge is also pet friendly to well behaved dogs at no extra charge which is a rarity and much appreciated.
The host / owner is also incredibly helpful and a real pleasure to deal with.
We would definitely stay here again.

The Lodge is situated on a park that is so tranquil and chilled. We really enjoyed the facilities offered at The Lodge. We particularly liked sitting on the decking, which provided a beautiful view of surrounding countryside and Skiddaw in the distance, during sunny mornings.
The lodge owner (Tony) was so helpful with his communications prior to arrival, and we thought the personalised card/message (received on arrival) was such a lovely, personalised touch for visitors.
There wasn't really anything we didn't like about The Lodge.
The only thing that really springs to mind is that the park itself is accessed off a busy main road, and entry both in and out of the park can cause a bit of anxiety.
