The location was perfect for easy walking access into town and only a 5-minute walk from the airport tram stop. The apartment was extremely modern and clean. Communications throughout the booking and stay were very good, thank you.

One small hiccup was that I returned to my apartment after midnight and although I was able to access the block with my door code, for some reason, the code for my apartment door did not register. However, a quick text to the administrators and I had an immediate response with a solution and I was in.

Got off to a bad start. Big taxes on top of price quoted (vat). Then repeatedly asked for credit card details for a £250 security deposit. Booking.com resolved this and got a nice message from the property manager. This is not in the property policy details. Then read the reviews about the loud pub music noises below. Yes the music is loud from below and goes on until 12.50 am. However music not that bad - very indie and in tune!

Great central Edinburgh location

Great accommodation, clean,warm, and excellent location for the price. Ana, our contact was excellent with her communication and was lovely when we met her.

There is a bar with live music downstairs, and you will need to use ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, which are provided. That would not stop me from coming back as the location is very handy.

Brilliant to deal with, communication was excellent as I needed something extra which they made happen. Top location and lovely apartment.

It is above a pub so next time I come on a weekend I would bring ear plugs for a better nights sleep.

The location was great as it was very central, it was very clean and had a very comfy bed in the main bedroom. Bathroom was also to a good standard

The fold out bed was very uncomfortable and also, as it is in the main room, the light for the fire exit door stays on all night which isn’t ideal. Also, the main room backs on to where the bars empty their bottle bins, as this was done early in the mornings the room could benefit from better sound proofing

It was ok ,very clean great bathroom and shower ,but the beds were too small and uncomfortable

The location was within the distance of everything we needed' shops ,resteraunts public transport in the city centre. The apartment was lovely and clean and had a kitchen with everything you needed. We didnt use anything but the kettle as we arrived at 3pm and didnt return until midnight, We just needed it for an overnight stay. Myself, my husband and our adult son.

Didnt like the noisy street ,could hear traffic , people as we were above a bar and surrounded by resteraunts .It was a busy area .Also didnt like the bed it was too small and uncomfortable .If you are more than 5ft2inches then this bed is too short and also to narrow. The sofa bed didnt fit our 6ft 2inch son ,it was so uncomfortable he put the mattress on the floor which he said was more uncomfortable. Yhen ended up putting it back to a normal sofa and slept on that . So after going to a concert and coming back after midnight we wanted a good nights sleep .which we didnt get. It was also way overpriced ,possibly because of the Edinburgh fringe and the acdc concert that evening.

Horrendous

The property was clean and the room was large

Horrendous all night loud noise from bar below until early hours of the morning. Small double bed despite lots of room for a large bed which means on top of the loud noise from the bar downstairs we were not getting any sleep. The bed side light on one side of the bed didn’t work and the light in the bathroom mirror didn’t work.

well, there is a live music irish bar on the ground floor, so you will hear it (there were free earplugs by the bed, so that was nice tough). for some its a good thing (since the place is good craic!), for others, not so much (if you want to go to bed early). 10am check out seemed a little bit early, but its acceptable.

Really enjoyed that place

It was a great place. Location is in new town, walkable distance to everywhere. Very clean and staff was very helpful.

Sofa bed in livingroom could be comfier but not a big problem, it is okay. Under the property there is a pub they play live music every night until 1am lil bit noisy but not bothered me at all

Defective blind on kitchen window requires fixing, this was a nuisance during operation. Light coming off Exit sign too bright in lounge at night. Appreciate may be a Scottish Building Control requirement but illuminates lounge to a point that affects sleeping.

Comfortable and clean - perfect except for the bar.

The location, the decor, the facilities, the cleanliness. It was comfortable, clean and perfect for what we required.

The loo! It was impossible to sit straight on the loo, there was no room for the legs. The noise from the Boston Bar - ok if you go to bed late, but no good if you want an early night. Also, bins in the morning - late night, early morning, not ideal

Very central location, beautifully renovated apartment in a historic building. Clean, spacious, comfortable, very nice amenities and tasteful decoration. Helpful and communicative staff. Will gladly return to stay again.

The property is located close to/above a local pub and the pub goers can get loud in the evening. Wasn’t loud enough to be disruptive, in my opinion, but earplugs are provided! Wasn’t a deterrent for us, would happily return when in Edinburgh.

Location is amazing. Comfortable and high quality finishes.

Parking - nearest car park is not very near! Early check out. Worked for us because of our agenda, but normally 10am is too early. For £255 per night don’t expect to have to pay more for an 11am check out. .

Fully equipped and very clean apartment (look at the list of all available items!). Highly recommended for visiting Edinburgh. Walking distance to Princes street.
