Lovely spot, especially for a week long stay

Comfortable stay

I had such a warm and lovely stay. Roxanne and Cornelis were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy, and their kindness made the experience even more special. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly stay . I'll definitely be back again!

Excellent

The place is located near restaurants and the promenade. It is a walking distance to V&A waterfront and the Mojo market. The room is very clean and has basic supplies to make one's stay comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and always respond on time.

Great location in Cape Town for a very comfortable stay

Very quiet area with very friendly hosts. Your accommodation is a guest room connected to the main house. It is very well equipped and very comfortable. There is zero road noise. I appreciated Cornelis providing me a plug convertor for my stay. Shower and internet was great. Excellent security. I will make it my first choice when I come back to Cape Town in 2026!

Everything here is minor so please don't let them distract you from an excellent stay. The tight check-in window was stressful so I'm uncertain if it was a mistake, a nice to have or I was an inconvenience to the family arriving at 9pm. It is a steep hill to park on and while I personally didn't have any problems with the rental car, the person parked next to me got broken in to. Probably best to just uber everywhere.

A cosy room Sea Point

We enjoyed our stay at On Barkley. The room is comfortable and well furnished. The kitchenette is useful for making tea and coffee and warming up store-bought meals. Everything is clean and modern, and the room is stylishly decorated, making it cosy. The location is excellent. It's a quiet street within walking distance or a short drive from the trendy cafes and restaurants in Sea Point. It's also easy to get to beaches like Clifton and Camps Bay.

The only tricky thing is parking space, but parking is always an issue in Cape Town.

Very good place to explore Capetown

Hervorragende Lage, alles Wichtige fußläufig erreichbar, Parken kann ein wenig tricky sein, ist aber kein Drama (der Berg ist sehr steil). Etwas eingeschränkte Privatsphäre, da man bei der Familie im Haus wohnt (durch Türen getrennt), aber da die Familie extrem zuvorkommend und liebenswürdig ist, stört das nicht weiter. Bitte seid nett zu ihnen :)

Chambre et salle d'eau très confortable. Quartier top, on se sent en sécurité j'ai pu me balader a pied sans soucis, bien desservi en bus aussi. Cornelis et Roxanne sont très accueillants.

Das Apartment ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und das Bad ist groß. Die Terrasse mit Lichterkette ist super schön. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.
