About this cottage rental
The Südwind vacation rental is located on the first floor of the thatched-roof house and is ideal for 4 people. In the entryway, you’ll find an open kitchenette with a stovetop, refrigerator, sink, and microwave. The romantic living room features a comfortable sofa, fireplace, TV, and a dining table. The cozy sleeping alcove (140x200) is directly adjacent to the living room and is separated by a curtain. For a restful night’s sleep, there is another double bed (180x200) in the bedroom. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet.
The vacation apartment features its own terrace with seating and a parasol.
A gas grill and the sunbathing lawn with lounge chairs are available to all guests.
A washing machine in the outbuilding can be used for a fee.
A small starter set is available for the fireplace.
The Kestermann vacation farm on Usedom is located in the heart of the village of Neppermin on the Achterwasser. The farm has been lovingly designed with attention to detail for guests of the vacation apartment and the farm café. On the property, there are 4 apartments in the thatched-roof, half-timbered house. Right next door, the farm café—housed in the former barn—invites guests to enjoy homemade cakes and delicious meals. All apartments are equipped with their own kitchen, living room, bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. The two ground-floor vacation apartments each accommodate 4 people and feature their own terrace. The vacation apartments on the upper floor accommodate 2 or 4 people, respectively, and feature a large seating area in the garden under the walnut tree where guests can relax.
All guests are welcome to use the garden and the grill.
NEW starting in May 2026: A sports field for our guests. Fun for all ages, featuring a goal wall, professional dartboard, table tennis, and a bocce court. To catch your breath, there’s a seating area under shady chestnut trees.
In the romantic setting of the three-sided courtyard, amidst the lush greenery of the garden, bread is baked once a week in a traditional stone oven. Watching and participating are expressly encouraged and offer a welcome change of pace from swimming, hiking, biking, and golfing in and around the Achterwasser on the
