Apartment Kris- Stradun Old Town

Excellent location. Air conditioning but not very effective in the sofa bed room.

Very low ceilings. Difficult to get in and out of the main double bed on the window side. One small shower bathroom for 4 people to share. Only 3 bath towels provided. No hand towels. We requested another one but received no response. After hunting through the cupboards we did find another towel. Some coffee sachets provided but nothing else. No milk pods or bottled water. Not a particularly comfortable stay. There are I think at least 4 flights of stairs up to the apartment and a narrow steep staircase in the apartment up to the bedrooms.

Location in the old town was amazing

Very low ceilings for much of the top floor, cramped bathroom, proximity of bathroom to kitchen & living areas

It’s pretty central, and very quiet for being right in the heart of the historic town.

We were advised we would be met but we were not. Instead sent entry info. The apartment was stuffy upon arrival so I opened a window on a flat wall near the dining room. The window had shutters on them with a small opening. When we returned after dinner we found a cat in the apartment. We could not get it out. I contacted the host for help as did my cousin who lives in Croatia. We were met with rudeness. The host also blamed me for the cat being there. There was no way this cat got in unless it was Spider-Man! There were no city view unless you want to look at the top of roofs! There are 4 flights of very steep stairs to get to the apartment and this was not mentioned, my elderly mother struggled. There was also an awkward staircase in the apartment. I was told by the host if I come to Dubrovnik, I should know there are cats and stairs. This was my 4th visit to Dubrovnik and it’s the first time I noticed cats all over the souvenirs! The cat was up and down the stairs all night and we got no sleep until 5am. When we woke the cat was nowhere to be found! No doors or windows had been open! Clearly this cat had an entry/exit point somewhere! The rudeness of the host was disgraceful!
