Located within the old city walls but still close enough to one of the city gates, making the arrival easy. This is important to know because accessing accommodation in the old town can be hard with heavy luggage.
There could have been more space to hang towels in the bathroom and one little window didn’t have a blind.

Bright, freshly painted look. Comfortable.
Shower could have more pressure

Great communication. The staff were in constant contact about how to get to the property. Without knowing it we picked a great location, we didn't need to drag our luggage through the streets of The old town. We were dropped off at Buža gate and it was a short walk (with a few steps) to Kaleta House. We took the steps down to the old town centre each day & evening & once we took them back up! The rest of the time we walked around the outside of the walls back to Buža gate. Way less stress on the legs & heart. The accommodation is beautifully refurbished. Our room had loads of space for the two of us. Bathroom on the narrow side but the shower is more than large enough. The small fridge is a nice addition.
No vent in the bathroom. No other issues.

Spacious room and the apartment was located inside city walls so in good location. The host was friendly and gave us some recommendations regarding our stay.
The soundproofing was nearly non-existent, meaning noise from the street and from the common space kept us up for some time. If we weren't in good shape the stairs to the apartment could habe become problematic, but this is the case in Dubrovnik in general.

Great location just off the Main Street. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast restaurant is a short walk away in a beautiful setting just up from the Jesuit steps. An exceptional host, super helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Don’t be put off by the steps mentioned in other reviews everywhere in Dubrovnik is up or down steps all adding to the charm of the city which is stunning.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was around a 5min away but a lovely walk in the sunshine ☀️
Everything was perfect for us but Dubrovnik could be quite tricky for the less mobile….lots of steps

Villa St Vitus is the perfect location for a short city break, despite the steps to the location it was really worth the stay!
Bozo was extremely helpful and let us leave our bags in the accommodation. When we arrived he actually allowed us to check in early as the room was ready!
It was clean, there were shared cooking facilities if needed, however never did we bump into anyone. It was quiet but close enough to the town that you could walk anywhere. The bed was comfy and the shower was fab!
I could not recommend my stay anymore! 10/10, we’ll be back! Bozo also offers to organise your airport transfer if needed! oh and how could I forget breakfast!! despite the 5 minute walk it was so worth it and super filling for a day full of exploring😀😀🌞
absolutely nothing, it was fab!

Great walking location to everything. Very quiet and room to move around. Shared kitchen, if you want to make your own food. Helpful management with suggestions and information

The property was clean, and spacious with a fridge and kitchen great location if you are fit as 130 steep steps to get to get to it from the old town.
Too many steps to get to it, hot Ayer ran out very quickly. Two people couldn’t have a shower one after the other needed to wait at least 69/90 minutes for more hot water.

The owner is an absolute star. He arranged airport transfers, where breakfast was provided was stunning. When the first restaurant closed at the end if the season, he arranged another stunning location and excellent breakfasts. I cannot praise the owner high enough, he really wants you to have the best experience you possibly can.
The villa is a sort of very posh, adult hostel but everthing is there that you need for your stay. Brilliant location inside the city walls.
Steps! Dubrovnic is stunning but there are a zillion steps to get anywhere.

Great location and our host Bozo was incredibly helpful. Arranged a taxi to and from the airport, helped me recover my lost camera and gave great recommendations.

Great location in Old Town Dubrovnik. it is at the
top of a ton of stirs, so be warned! Fairly basic
accommodations, but everything you’ll need for a
great stay in Dubrovnik! Bozo, the owner, was
very communicative & accommodating.
the shower leaked despite closing the shower door
as tightly as we could. there was nowhere to hang
the towels to dry. we could hear some music from
the nearby bars and restaurants until late at night.
because it’s such a small place we could hear
anyone coming and going at any time.

the location was excellent, Bozo was amazing, super friendly and helpful, he arranged us an airport shuttle and helped us with the luggage up and down the steps.
we would like hangers in the bathroom, a shower gel would be nice. Wifi had no signal in the our room which was downstairs. We had access to the kitchen that was in a different room next door.

Location was great
A Lack of windows only a grate and shutters so no sound proofing. Door straight into street, you could hear everything from other rooms, we pretty much didn't get any sleep due to so much noise. Breakfast was on the other side if the old town, so a real hike every morning.

Peefect location in heart of the city, very nice breakfast in nearby fancy restaurant konoba Jezuite, quiet location, far enough from busy streets, house lord is very helpful any time needed, highly reccomended

Great localization, room and bathroom comfortable and clean, wi-fi working very well. The owner - Bozo - very very helpful (the most helpful person I have ever met with), was waiting for us with the keys before check-in, so we could leave our luggage earlier. He gave us map, tips and every time we could contact him via Whatsup.
Only one thing - breakfest. It wasn't in the villa, but in restaurant. On the other hand it was nice to eat good breakfest in nice restaurant, but it was problem in last day when we have to be on time to shuttle bus to the airport, so we couldn't eat breakfest because we wouldn't have made the bus, so we missed the breakfest. If breakfast had been in the villa then we would have had time to eat it.

Host was friendly and responsive. Communication via WhatsApp. Room is very close to the center, near the outer wall.
We had a room on the first floor. Room felt like it hadn't been cleaned (properly). Found dust and hairs at some places. The door of the shower was missing (as mentioned in another review) so the floor was completely wet after every shower. No place to hang towels after showering. There's a hairdryer in the bathroom but there are absolutely ZERO outlets. Toilet paper wasn't fully restocked and we were told to message the host if we needed more.
Bed was very squeaky and hard. Pillows were (too) soft. The windows have wooden blinds but one of them was unable to lock into place so we had to use flyers/books/remote controls to lock them.
A table with two chairs in the room would have been nice.
Wifi signal was poor in our room.
There's a smart TV in the room but you can only use it for Netflix. We tried fixing the channels but we were unable to.
For light sleepers, the city bells ring loudly at random times. Might be nice for some people but we didn't like it very much.
Breakfast at Konoba Jezuite was decent but gets repetitive after a few times due to lack of options.

Not much. The description of the property on Booking.com was completely deceptive. The owner was very friendly I say that and helpful.
First of all, there is no parking close by. And I mean nothing within a kilometer. About thirty steps you need to navigate with your luggage over very uneven old stone steps to get to the place. Had to wait in the rain for the owner to show up because there is no reception. You need to call him beforehand but if you don't have a international phone, that isn't possible. Rooms were not even close to the descriptions. The picture on Booking.com is nothing like the place. It is all the way up near the outer wall and there are about fifty steps you have to go down and up to get to the main street and all the sites on Dubrovnik. There was supposed to be a balcony but it was just the stairs outside the door, which was rickety and difficult to close. There was a light that shined through the door all night long. There was black mold in the corner. The shower had a door missing and so when you used the shower, the whole bathroom flooded. There were no towel racks or hooks to hang towels up. There was only about 8 minutes of hot water for two people. The people staying upstairs walked around ALL NIGHT LONG and kept us awake. The breakfast was at a restaurant on the main street fifty steps down and it was awful. The owner of the place did not want us eating there, that was obvious. We were supposed to stay three nights. After the second night we went to another place. So very disappointed.
