The hotel was extremely authentic, and I can’t express our positive thoughts about the staff enough; they are awesome! Cleaned our room, offered water, and as we were checking out we didn’t have cash but they tried their best to help us for the payment.

Lovely oasis in old town of Sousse. Helpful English speaking host who went out of his way to help with anything we needed. Large spacious ornately decorated rooms. Lovely outdoor seating areas great rooftop views.

The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially Amine, we are really thankful for his assistance! The room is exactly as it is in the picture, the bed is very big and comfortable, and so are the pillows (which does not happen much). Breakfast was absolutely delicious!
For me as not an early bird it was a bit noisy in the morning because of early birds being out for their breakfast. However, I’d rather consider it my problem. Also please keep in mind that there is no reception, please try to be as accurate as possible with your arrival time (was not a problem for me personally, Amine helped us finding our way as well).

Gives an idea of a traditional house
Cleanness: we could not dare putting anything in the fridge so greasy it was
Lack of professionalism of the owner, watching YouTube in the middle of the night and in the courtyard where no sound insulation exist between the courtyard and the room
Mosque is very close so you will be waken up at around 5
$$$$
